It's Official

Well I have pictures because I had to repaint the whole outside (windows, trim, porch) for occupancy... so the new screwdriver holes are recent... as well as his comments in the report stating " looking for soft wood" on window sills.... idiot, I swear some dont have a brain and my agent noted it so this company will not be inspecting this house again. Not many showed for the second open house last week but my agent said the activity has sky rocketed on the internet ( pulled several times by same lookers) so there is still alot of interests in the house. I dropped the price a tad to make it a bit more attractive since the week after mothers day is supposed to be a big jump in the market.

Dogs are trained to sniff out termites , it's too bad more people don't use dogs instead of making holes in people houses. Is there any way you can sue the fool or is not worth the time and energy ?
 
Well, slating another open house sunday. Today I cut the grass as usual, just a little shorter due to all the rain we had and more to come. While cutting had 5 vehicles stop for flyers in the info box, one pulled around back to look and I offered to let them view the house. They loved it. So I am really hoping for a great turn out this weekend and hopefully a contract ! Schools are out now so the market should pick up really well now.
I have been looking at properties as well as land and modular homes that are energy efficient with some giving incentives like free utilities for a year or 2
 
Good luck Sonocativo on your future plans and etc.. but I read whole thread before I post.. but hope things work out for the best in end tho :) u are doing great with fixing the house and etc.. hopefully it will be sold in no time. :)

Well today is a busy day. Got someone returning from the open house this past sunday to possibly make an offer. Also had a confirmed appointment from last week for today ( overlapping times) so 2 parties interested and hoping to land a solid contract today.

The lady called my agent twice, she is an older lady that cares for her mom. She and her mother loves the house and will be having her brother come look at it and submit an offer. So, now it's just a waiting game on my end....
 
Just got a call from my agent. First group is still working on financing, second group is writing up a contract now. Now just a waiting game to see what's offered.

I had a 2 family house and I had to 2 buyers that really wanted it so one the buyer made an offer higher than I was asking for. I hope this happen for you too.

Are you selling house.are you moving far? I went to Roy Orbison and elvis show,theatre in town with wonderful acoustics London philomonic reherse there.all the deafies in front to lip read in theatre with Englishman doing Roy microphone over mouth not easy he said something about love from one of his songs or so I thought I stood up shout yes he actually said anyone got a lover I did feel idiot with husband sitting there

They made a decent offer, I accepted it, now for all the inspections again. If all goes well closing 7/17
 
The mudroom was an eyesore to me, even that there is a contract on the house, I felt to finish it and make it more inviting, gives a warm welcome feel to the house when you enter instead of the cold feel from ugly concrete.

So, I come home from the store yesterday and the lady ( who came to open house and the next day ) that was interested in buying and had to get financing in order shows up at the door all freaked out !!! WTF? Right???
She's asking if the house sold, if their offer was higher than theirs...ect.... I just told her to call my agent.
He called her and called me back, said they really wants the house and was trying to get us o drop the other peep and let her get it...lmao, really?
So, she put a back up offer in if this one falls through, which the inspection is tomorrow, so I will know if its a done deal soon. Im packing and ready to put everything in storage as soon as I get word. Still looking for a place, but may move in with my daughter for awhile to help them out a bit while I look.
