Any body got some smokes? Cig or pot? :smoking:

no pain here sad to say. youre just insignificant. Even your bashing thread turned into a party here. whats that say?

It says her presence has not interrupted us having fun with each other for even a second. The party continues.

hank. Think I'll smoke it up...

You know, I switched to these about a year or so ago. I dropped from smoking nearly a pack a day to 4 cigs a day. They don't have the chemical that makes the nicotine leave your body quicker like the commercial ones do, so you don't crave them as often. Plus, they burn much slower without the additives. Most of the time, I smoke half of one, put it out, and finish it later. And no withdrawal symptoms from cutting that far back. No more cough, either.

I'm not saying its a good thing to be smoking, but I am better off than I was a year ago by a long shot.

I have quit smoking over a year ago..... Have not let a cig touch my lips since May 5th 2010. :)

I admire you! I just can't seem to let go completely! I actually enjoy smoking.

I used to smoke till i got my heart attack. I never was a heavy smoker so it wasn't hard for me to quit. Once in a blue moon, I'll get cravings and then I have to buy smokes.

My nephew loves Hot Tamales. I buy him the movie sized box: Walgreen's has them every so often at 3 for $3.00. He tried the cinnamon gummy bears from Jelly Belly, though, and he says they are better than the Hot Tamales. He just doesn't like the price!

That's good to hear.

I did it for me.. I just woke up one morning and decided I had enough!! Laid the pack down on the table, I let it sit there for a week before I picked it up and threw it in the garbage. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. Guess you really have to want to quit and have that mindframe.

I am absolutely correct in every statement I have made. Anyone with a brain and critical thinking skills will come to the same conclusion as me.

but..... you conceded that SEE is not a language. you were wrong.

Although some of them I'm sure are hesitant to speak up, as those who did in this thread were attacked by a pack of hungry wolves.
thank you for confirming my suspicion that you think You're Joan of Arc.

oh well - I'm getting off the carousel. gonna join the party with them.

Yes, I love hot cinnamon jelly bellies. At 7-8 dollars per pound, they remain a special treat. Hot tamales are good, too.

Oh, yeah. You have added incentive there!

Since I have cut back so much, I probably could quit without too many problems now. But I like to smoke. Some days, though, I don't even light my first one until after supper. And I never have more than a couple cigs on me so I can't be tempted to go over my limit. I have a cig case that came free with a pack of my American Spirits, and I just put a couple of cigs and a lighter in there to take with me. The other day, I went to the office without it, and everything was cool until I got home. There was a time that I would have turned around to get them, or stopped an bought another pack on the way!

I don't smoke inside, either, so I have to actually get up and go outside to do nothing but smoke. That keeps me from going over my limit, too. Before, I could burn a pack up just working on the computer or reading.

They make the hot cinnamon gummy bears now, too. They aren't quite as expensive as the jelly beans, for some reason.

Have you had the extra hot Hot Tamales?

Yep. That is the key. Change comes in stages. I guess I am in the preparation stage right now! Each stage has a particular mind set that goes with it.
