They make the hot cinnamon gummy bears now, too. They aren't quite as expensive as the jelly beans, for some reason.

Have you had the extra hot Hot Tamales?

Jelly beans takes no less than 7 days to make. this is due to the jelly filling and a bit of crisp outside layer. gummy bears don't have the outside layer.

No, I haven't tried the high octane version yet.
I don't like gummy bears but my kids love them. My eldest loves ginger chews, too.

absolutely correct in every statement you made? anyone with a brain and critical thinking skill?

but..... you conceded that SEE is not a language. you were wrong.

thank you for confirming my suspicion that you think You're Joan of Arc.

oh well - I'm getting off the carousel. gonna join the party with them.

Funny. No one agrees with her. Reasonable, critically thinking people would say, :hmm:. Maybe I'm the one that is wrong since I am the only on that thinks this way. But CSign thinks she is right, and everyone else is wrong. I see that trait alot with particular clients. They all have the same diagnosis in common.

Ohh, ginger chews. I love the bite they have.

The high octane ones were just not my taste. They were so hot that they had no flavor, just heat.

Ahhh. That makes sense! I did not know that it takes so long to make jelly beans. Every day I learn something new is a great day.:ty: Thanks for teaching me.

Yep. That is the key. Change comes in stages. I guess I am in the preparation stage right now! Each stage has a particular mind set that goes with it.

I made my gf feel guilty enough to quit smoking. First time she quit, she tried a tactic to wean off ciggies by smoking Black and Mild (3-5 a day). That stuff was so nasty to me that I actually wanted her to go back to ciggies. One day, I told her to please either quit or smoke ciggies. Out of annoyance, she said "It doesn't matter! Everyone dies of something anyway! I could just get cancer or die in a car accident.". I said "That's true, but if I get cancer, I will never wonder if I could have done something to prevent this, especially if we have kids". Well, that struck a cord in her, and she has been smoke free for a month, after smoking for like 20 years.

BWAH HAHAHAHA. I love being raised Catholic. Making people feel guilty is our specialty.

And coercion.

Be careful with that. It can breed resentment.

Girl, I got a double dose of that guilt thing...Catholic father and Jewish mother!:laugh2:

I quit when I was pregnant with my son, and didn't smoke again until he was about 7. God knows what possessed me to go back. He went through the Black and Mild thing when he was about 18-19. Those things stink to high heaven! That goodness that phase didn't last long. He doesn't smoke at all now.

My 5 year old great nephew tried the guilt thing on me. Just a few days ago, he said, "Aunt Jiwweo, moking is not good for you. I love you. I don't want you to die. Pwease don't moke no more." Knife in the gut!

ok well I'm sooooo late - didn't find buttermilk pancakes but I did find buttermilk Biscuits which have not had in a long time

I did also notice that you can get specific flavors of Jelly Bellies - like they have a baggie of only berry Jelly Belly and so on. So I picked some up - who wants any? I have the cinnamon, the Berry ones, some Apple Pies, Mint Chocolate Chips and some Toasted Marshmallow.

Buttermilk biscuits are good. Let me go get the honey!

Broken teeth, and really odd texture together there...

Doesn't anybody ever bring Ovaltine to these parties?

Black licorice, soda pop shop, toasted marshmallow, and buttered popcorn. 1/4 lb of each all mixed together. I have a Jelly Belly "paint can" that I have saved, and I just keep refilling it.:giggle:

Ovaltine is a good idea Bott - maybe we should all make a little shopping list for dinner later to include people's ideas. No reason why we can't have Ovaltine later:)

Jillio - creative:giggle: I should tell my hubby who loves Jelly Bellies.

I had the mushroom and swiss burger.. they make awesome burgers but crappy fries.. :(

So I just got a burger and a Vanilla shake.. Not good for my waistline but excellent for my tastebuds!!
