It must get tiring!

Where are there any accusations? Who said anything about you bringing anyone over to the dark side?

Looks like you are so used to adding unnatural markers to signs that it carries over to you adding words to post, or manufacturing posts that never even exisited.:laugh2:

I'm sure Jiro will attest to the comments about me saying ASL and SEE are the same, as well as me trying to persuade parents to use SEE. Or one could just go back a few pages and SEE (haha) for themselves.

I added the "dark side"- I thought it was a good representation of what SEE is to some of the Deaf posters here.

In real life, I am very scared of dark alleys. Not kidding!

Unfortunately, my neighborhood is full of them.

Some people are better off in dark alleys. The light of day does them no favors.:P

When they get exposed to the light of day, all the errors become evident.:P

that joke fell flat for me, csign

Do we have to use SEE?

I am utterly confused by SEE. My older daughter understands it, from friends at school where it was used.

I am betting that I can just play with the kids and we can communicate with our signs in common.

SEE, there you go again, assuming to know what he Deaf are thinking.:cool2:

Ok. Let me say this again.

I never said SEE was the same as ASL. I said many of the signs are the same, which they are.

bop bop bop! ssssssshhhhhhhhh..... Baby Owl Sock is napping...

I'm betting you are absolutely correct.:cool2:

In real life, I am not. Although my dad and my husband get a bit nervous sometimes. I know I can handle myself. A little Karate goes a long way.

I learned all I needed to know from Karate Kid ;-)

Could always bring along some pepper spray and a screw driver!

And your English is better than mine! I understand SEE but its painful for me to see people signing it and I won't use SEE.

It's funny. When I talk to the man who created SEE.... He uses ASL. Then "catches" himself all the times mid conversation to go back to SEE.. then after a few words he goes right back to ASL.... then catches himself.... you see the routine?
