Rules? very interesting, tell me where I can find Rules of AD?

Quoted by Alex - the administrator of AD
Additional rule added: Provide a link/source whenever 'copying and pasting' contents from any form of the media. We take copyright infringement seriously.

Rules can be found here.

oh no, Jillio.... sigh.... another one of those "I-have-a-life" card..... anyway - what do you mean you don't have a time to learn the computer? Didn't you find that paragraph from online? If you did.. you can simply copy & paste the link of it in here. Takes you lot shorter than looking for it.

or did you type it from the book?

I can't lie to you, I did not type it from the book and I did use Copy and Paste it from Wikipedia.

There you go. Now you have cited your source. Next time all you have to do is cut and paste the link after you have cut and pasted someone else's words.

oh there you go. since you're able to copy/paste it from wiki, you can copy/paste the link too. :cool2:

Thanks Jiro

I was surprised that I can't allow to say "idiot" to anyone or I would get a ban?

don't worry about it. and no you're not going to get banned. you'll simply get a warning for first time. we all try our best not to call names on fellow AD'er. sometimes it gets out of hands but as long as you apologized for it... i'm sure you'll be fine. I called you an idiot yesterday but I apologized. :cool2:

I really not mean to anyone for real, I just speech in my opinion by point of view but I should not be rude or insult with rude name because I did got first warning mail. I just tried to proved to all people because all wars in the past, present and future always be same, there is nothing change. I just say I like to see all terrorists gone for good but still too hard because many terrorists still exist around in the world. I do feel bad for civilians in big time, yes, really big time but there is no reason to blames on Israel or any Government, I know they tried to get peace for many years, sometime peace not work and sometime peace can get success.

I need to know, I did copy/paste it from wikipedia is ok? or any website is ok? I didn't break any AD's rules? because I don't understand with "11a) Provide a link/source whenever 'copying and pasting' contents from any form of the media. We take copyright infringement seriously." then what mean?

you not alone, I did called someone an idiot (I can't remember who person) but I still apologized to this person. :cool2:

sure any website is fine. For example.... I copied a sentence from wikipedia - "Palestine can also refer to the State of Palestine, declared by the Palestinian National Authority and recognized by over 100 countries.[3] Within the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the use of the term Palestine can arouse fierce controversy.[4]"

I link the source like this - [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine]Palestine[/URL] or
Code:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine

whatever works for you! :cool2:

Now I'm understand and thank you for explained more clear.

don't worry about it. I'm also known to have a rather strong opinion that scared a lot of people :laugh2:. Yes we all would love it if all terrorists are gone but they won't. Terrorists exist because they have an extreme view and they take extreme action. Not everybody shares the same view. We want to eat meat and I love meat. Other people don't like to eat meat but some of them have a very very strong opinion about it. They went too far by sabotaging slaughterhouse or maybe even killing president of the meat company. You could say PETA is a terrorist organization if you like.

point is - yes terrorists exist. but is it worth a costly collateral damage to achieve the goal of eliminating terrorists?

we now have missiles with precision capability, advanced surveillance technology, and special ops. That's why it's not necessary to carpet bomb Iraq and Afghanistan like we did on Germany.

Er.. hard to agree on that one. Check those numbers from Project Censored(http://www.projectcensored.org/top-stories/articles/1-over-one-million-iraqi-deaths-caused-by-us-occupation/)":

"Over one million Iraqis have met violent deaths as a result of the 2003 invasion, according to a study conducted by the prestigious British polling group, Opinion Research Business (ORB)."

"Of deaths for which families were certain of the perpetrator, 56 percent were attributable to US forces or their allies. Schwartz suggests that if a low pro rata share of half the unattributed deaths were caused by US forces, a total of approximately 80 percent of Iraqi deaths are directly US perpetrated. "

We are "only" talking about some houndreds civilians killed so far in Gaza, while US forces and allies knock the life out of more than thousand Iraqis every month. Capret bombing in Dresden killed about 30.000 civilians. US led Iraq occupucation exceeds that far far more. Perspective, please...

again.... misleading. They "calculated" with assumption. Beside - what about Private Security Firms in Iraq? There were over 30,000. and we are not responsible for allies' actions. Again.... misleading methodology.

Postscript on Iraqi War Dead
Another figure in the news recently has been the number of Iraqis killed in the war. President Bush mentioned last month that in addition to the more than 2,100 American soldiers killed so far in Iraq, that there were approximately 30,000 Iraqis killed. He was likely referring to the approximate figure put out by Iraq Body Count, a group of primarily British researchers who use online Western media reports to compile an extensive list of Iraqi civilians killed. The organization checks the names and associated details of those killed. It necessarily misses all those whose names don't make it into the reports, and it makes no attempt to estimate the number it misses. The group's list contains almost 30,000 names at present.

A study that appeared in the prestigious British medical journal, the Lancet, in October 2004, used statistical sampling techniques to estimate all Iraqis killed because of the war and its myriad direct and indirect effects. The figure researchers came up with at that time -- 15 months ago -- was approximately 100,000 dead, albeit with a large margin of error. The Lancet study used the same techniques that Les F. Roberts, a researcher at Johns Hopkins and lead author of the study, used to investigate mortality caused by the wars in Bosnia, the Congo and Rwanda. Although Roberts' work in those locations was unquestioned and widely cited by many, including British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, the Lancet estimates on Iraq were unfortunately dismissed or ignored in 2004.

These last 15 months have considerably raised the American death toll, the IBC numbers, and any update that may be in the works for the Lancet's staggering 100,000 figure. In fact, if the Lancet estimates rose at a rate proportional to the IBC's numbers since October 2004 -- from about 17,000 then to about 30,000 -- the updated figure would be approximately 175,000 Iraqis dead since the war began.

Though you have not accounted for those mindless militant extremists, we are not going to abide by their two main demands: 1) The eradication of Israel and 2) Converting the world to Islam.

Where does it say that they want to convert the world to Islam?

And if it were true, how would that be any different from Christians and their missionaries around the world? Wouldn't it be fair to say that they want to spread their religion around the world as well?

he is korean? no wondering! Thanks :)

Obviously, you don't even know who he is and you go off on a tangent and trash him. I should report your post but just keep in mind that there are people who have been here longer than you and even though we sometimes disagree, we all know where the lines are and how not to cross them, unlike you.
