Is Michael Moore a Hypocrite and a Liar?

Do people actually read the terms and conditions before they sign anything?

It's still illegal to view or obtain someone's tax records without authorization. What part of that do you not understand? Places like H&R Block are required to have my permission in order to view my tax records. However, they are not allowed to disclose them to anyone else.

The "1%" refer to the percentage of wealthy americans who own 40% of the nation's wealth. Michael Moore is nowhere close to that. He's not a hypocrite or a liar.

This ain't rocket science.:dunno2:

When anyone starts using the supposed stupidity of the opposition to support their own stance, I shut down. The perpetuation of pigeon-holing all people as "Libs" or "Reps" and believing that it is the thinking of one of these groups is uneducated or moronic, is the precise reason the country loses footing and problems are not addressed and resolved efficiently. When one believes that, 'if you are not with us, you are against us', ' if you don't think like me then you are simply not thinking', they are epitomizing narrow-mindedness, short-sightedness and stand in the way of any positive movement forward. Let's try and keep discussions about our own opinions based on what we know and experience ourselves without trying to drag along half a nation who may or may not share our ideas.

I'm neither a democrap nor a Repub-bar. I dislike both parties. I can't stand the 2 party system. No other option at all. That's a load of crap there.

I want more options...

Oh I remember that movie. A bunch of great comedians in that one. :)

Yeah, one of my favs. Remember Dude with the religious delusions taking his clothes off in the church? Funny stuff!

Yep. :)

And the patient who thinks he's a doctor. He walks all over the hospital dressed in a suit and with a clipboard.

My GAWD, you are a judgmental, intolerant, name calling, insecure, waste of space. How dare you assume someone is a "crack head". You are a hateful excuse for a human being. Get some therapy and develop some human characteristics.

The Man upstairs resorted to name calling too, "You brood of vipers". Not nice and very unpolitically correct, huh? I'd sure love to hear your exchange with Him. Thing is, He'll just ignore you. LOL!!

I talk to Him all the time. Guess what? He answers me.:cool2: He told me yesterday, "Nice way to spot hypocrisy."

Nope, that happened and I remember it very well.

What?

The tax records itself cannot be sold to anyone. Like I said, it's a felony for anyone to view them without authorization, let alone selling it.

What you may be thinking of is the information including your names, e-mail address, home address, age, etc. Some companies will sell these sort of information to a third party, but they cannot sell tax information or any information that may present a security risk to you. For instance, your social security information, driver's license, all sorts of information that can be used to commit identity theft.

And they also must inform you that they share the information with others. If you don't want your information such as name, email addy, etc. shared, then you simply don't provide that information to the company that does the sharing.

Personal tax returns, as confidential documents, are exempt from Freedom of Information laws that allow public inspection of records.

That is absolutely correct. I've often declined that part because I don't want to get junk mail. Anyway, I know that some companies will sell them anyway without consent, I believe that shouldn't be tolerated at all. Now, selling tax records... that's a hoot.

I find it somewhat warped to think that everyone that earns a certain amount must behave a certain way. Should all Democrat Senators switch parties based on the fact they earn "X" amount of dollars? Would there ever be a true Democrat President? Maybe this 1% thing is a state of mind, not a bank balance. Anyhow, carry on with the show!

Yeah, I amended by post to include citation for the fact that tax info is confidential.

A private company selling their clients' personal and private information?

What law makes that legal?

Cooperations do it all the time, so do Government.

Their way of saying, "Do as I say, not as I do."

Hypocrisy at it's best. :giggle:
