Is Michael Moore a Hypocrite and a Liar?

If Capitalism doesn't work, how come there's jobs out there still?
Capitalism works very well. Problem is greed from people in position to be greedy. They are the ones that think $10 an hour is too much and ship jobs to China. They also avoid pollution control laws (I can still see the moon at night, who cares?) and child labor laws (Idle hands do the devil's work!) in an effort to pad their own bloated salaries.

Cooperations do it all the time, so do Government.

Their way of saying, "Do as I say, not as I do."

Hypocrisy at it's best. :giggle:

Where is the law that makes it legal?

Lies, lies and more lies. Or the rantings of a delusional person, one of the two.:cool2:

Or the ones that hire illegal aliens to keep from paying fair wage and benefits. (Oh, no, she didn't!!!) That's Capitalism.

Ummm...you realize the post you quoted says that the accusations are stupid, right?

I have a right to agree some points...but not all of it.

But I do love his post because he has a free mind to express himself and tries to stick to logic. Those I enjoy!

mmm. Found any?

In any case, my reply to Beowulf wasn't intended to be serious. In the future, it'd be appreciated if you don't take my replies out of context.

Kind of the indentured slave syndrome. Wonder how many of those owners threaten to expose some of their illegal workers to Immigration if they fail to make quota?

Yiz.... Quit being a pussy ass bitch. I live in pain on a daily basis. There are members here on the forum that are undergoing cancer treatment while splitting hairs with their family/job life, in constant pain, bound to where they are, etc etc etc.

AND THEY WORK.

Don't insult them.

There was someone who said it before me, smart alack and you KNOW who said it.

Geez!

Strawman approaches don't work with me.

Yiz

You are the one that threw Jesus out there as a strawman.:laugh2:

The "1%" refer to the percentage of wealthy americans who own 40% of the nation's wealth. Michael Moore is nowhere close to that. He's not a hypocrite or a liar.

But MM does want to OWN theirs!

The question posed to Michael Moore was "are you one of the 1%?"

He said no.

There's nothing wrong with being wealthy. It's far more preferable to being hungry and broke, that's for sure. that's not what was being debated here nor was it the point of your first post.

What?

The tax records itself cannot be sold to anyone. Like I said, it's a felony for anyone to view them without authorization, let alone selling it.

What you may be thinking of is the information including your names, e-mail address, home address, age, etc. Some companies will sell these sort of information to a third party, but they cannot sell tax information or any information that may present a security risk to you. For instance, your social security information, driver's license, all sorts of information that can be used to commit identity theft.

He wasn't referring tax records, just typical names, addresses, zip codes, email addresses for spam, etc. it's basically a demographical information like most companies do when they sell a list of information to other companies for profits and junk mail us to death in hopes of garnering a profit. Those that a Government sells and I do recall a story from my local newspaper a while back in the 1990s, before the popularity of the Internet.

It's nothing new, really. Just typical, same crap, different technologies.

So his statement triggered a memory...

I want to be wealthy and not worry about money. I would rather worry about other things if I can help it.

I find it somewhat warped to think that everyone that earns a certain amount must behave a certain way. Should all Democrat Senators switch parties based on the fact they earn "X" amount of dollars? Would there ever be a true Democrat President? Maybe this 1% thing is a state of mind, not a bank balance. Anyhow, carry on with the show!

Where did they get this 1% anyway? I never bothered to research it, but that just seem awfully low to me in terms of the rich. What about the rest of the world?

Have you guys seen how the Saudi's live from oil profits. You'd drop yer jaws seeing pics of it that would make a gal like Oprah Winfrey blush.

Why just secluded in USA only?
