Sadly, you are so very mistaken. The citizens of a country always end up suffering in the U.S. attempt to force "the American way". I have answered your question. You just don't understand the answer.

That's because I am waiting for them... You can rave all day about what is wrong with a democracy, but you have not answered the question of what is better than a democracy.

Turkey, is not practicing, "The American Way" neither is France, England, India or Japan. They are practicing Democracy which is different, in case you didn't know.

...when the British complete their withdrawal in May 1948, Israel declares itself an independent state. The next day, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq invade, but ultimately lose much of the land the UN had set aside for Arabs. Egypt and Jordan are left in control of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, respectively.
