I wish an american submarine sunk iran ships!

Doesn't Iran have ballistic nukes now? Better get an iceberg ready.

I can see the report on TWC "...in other news ... what appears to be a fluke, a break away iceberg suddenly appeared out of nowhere ...."

We need to bomb them way out there so we don't screw up our fishing industry

Eight years ago, we invaded the wrong country. Dumbass Bush couldn't read: Iraq, Iran. Spelling is close, after all . . .

eh it's not even combat-ready nor capable of striking America with precision.

No, I was just trying to say that Iranian ships are not designed for long voyages across the Atlantic. They will probably hit an iceberg somewhere.

I think you got your geography wrong

Iran is trying to be part of the game, any game. They are not happy unless others talk about them.

Their ships are not deep sea worthy. They cannot hold enough fuel to cross the oceans without support ships. All their ships are considered coastal defense.

btw, we do not have a "border" on the ocean. It is called a "12 mile limit" based on a 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

All countries who have a coast have up to 12 miles seaward to protect itself. That includes the air and below the water. Foreign countries are allowed to go through it if they are not hostile.

Depends on which route they take, but they could certainly pass through waters that have icebergs.

To me, that is a border. A border is a line drawn saying "you cannot cross here"

which they have no capability and/or resource to reach that far

Duh. We ought to just say, "Begone, gnat!" and flick them off like a fly.

Well, lets be carefull here. Look at USA when it started.. England was where we are today and USA then is where Iran is and we defeated them.

Just never know.

Also it's not just Iran, if something happens, other countries might and probably will come to Iran defense. Would be kinda hard to fight them all together while dealing with other 2 wars ( one really since we are supposed to be pulling out of Iraq soon.)

Sorry, but that analogy is not even remotely close. Vietnam isn't even a good analogy.
