Are you serious, PFH?

Tired of going after late deafened and elderly deaf and now sinking so low as to attack kids? On what basis? Because he was mainstreamed? So were you for a time, weren't you? So were many of the posters here. It likely wasn't his decision.

Because he has some equipment that is broken and chooses not to use a CI? Didn't you wear a hearing aid and then decide not to use it? Is that something you take issue with? What point does that prove?

Or do you point out that he got his CI 13 years ago to taunt him for not getting it as an infant, as is currently recommended? It was not as easy to do so as it is today Did you determine at what date you started wearing your aid?

What is this point you think this proves? You haven't made one.

I do? What I see are nasty deaf on deaf attacks at every turn. What is it, a required hazing? A deaf person reaches out to the community, you spew nastiness and ridicule on him and then wonder why there are so many deaf who do not affiliate. Did you know everything and were you perfectly attuned to deaf culture at 16, 17, however old he is? Not everyone is, and I'd think a guiding hand would go a hell of a lot farther than a punch in the nose when it comes to mentoring a young deaf man.

If I were new to this board, to Deaf Culture and saw that this is how young deaf kids are being addressed and disrespected by adult Deaf people, you'd better believe my child would not see hide nor hair of Deaf Culture as long as I could protect her.

While what PFH said here was probably uncalled for, I will say in his defense that Joey has flamed and did some things over the last 24 hours that he was aware of and has admitted to. People that were here within that time had about enough of what he has had to say for a short time.

I am not biased here, but I will say that everything aside from one thing that Joey has posted has been something that could start a rawring debate. A number of people have reported him all over the boards between yesterday and today.

If it is guidance Joey seeks he should go about it in a different manner.

I am a part of the Deaf culture but I wasnt a part of the "attacks" made on this thread. So, you are doing the same...attacking Deaf culture when it is a few individuals.

That's what I found funny.

Using "things against me" with like 25% of the information, and wow, all the things said couldn't be any more distorted. I had to refrain.
 
Maybe Post from hell should stay the hell out of CI threads. Every freaking time I see you in a CI thread, you bash on them.
