They already did. Many PCs run on Intel Duo core and Xeon duo core, too. Apple was one of the first computers to run on a Intel duo core processor.

Oh, yup for most latest PC and Mac based computers.

I found from wikipedia, Pentium is existing for builders, that will phase out in 2008, even they can sell old Pentium on ebay or keep as collection with varies of old CPU.
