Thats wise to keep your options open, I wanted to become a chartered accountant, but theres another passion of mine, besides wanting to act (i seriously love the camera), that is being a doctor, its always been my parents dream for me to be a doctor, I think that I've kinda disappointed them, but then I will be a doctor in accounting, but I will have to work so damn hard for that!!

I trust that when people ask if there is a doctor in the room, it's probably not because they need you to help with tax returns! ;)

Yeah, before I could get my bursary, we were subjected to integrity tests, because in the field of accountancy, integrity matters the most, absolute honesty is vital, imagine the finances of a large company going into the hands of one that is dishonest...

By the way, I will study tax, but am gonna specialize in auditing and forensic auditing!!

Oy vey! My dad lectures me on being honest quite often, because of his job as a comptroller...He has had to fire a few people beacuse they weren't honest.

I think its very sad...really I have always been told from a young age, speak nothing else but the truth, because your lies will catch up with you one day!!

Yeah, I have to, because bad people aren't supposed to be in the world of honest people and people who value integrity more than anything else...

I sound like a preacher here, but I believe that an honest man will die for the truth, he will never turn to bribery and corruption!!

I have already visited a businessman in jail when I was doing forensic auditing as part of my vacation work!!

Yeah, this guy was in jail on corruption charges...so if you are in a business, please stick to the law and the constitution that precedes all laws of a country!!

We were sent to find his accounts that he had hidden!! & trust me, he hid them in places we wouldn't even think about!! (well thats the whole point of hiding something!)

Have you been on any work experience??

Fyborg, there are better places than the jail, I also had lunch with a CEO and his team, and I also went for a cocktail party at the headquarters of another company that we audited, so its really cool!!
