Just careful with skunks. Please do not try yourself at home unless you are professional.
You need put grape on track to wood. Then you need to fix up to prevent any wild animals enter your house or shed.
Best way to call animal control. They will take care for you.

Maybe my nose is not too shape enough to smell ...
I just found out that I have a skunk in my basement, my son woke me up about 1 30 am and told me he heard some noises in the basement sounds of a high pitched squeaking noises, at first I thought maybe it's a rat, then he says no it could be either a squirrel or a raccoon. I thought it needs to be taken care of right way, so I called the 24 hour emergency animal/rodent removal services. Their prices were outrageous! $250.00 min rate and $45.00 per animal removal.
So, I went downstairs in the basement with a light, just to see what is really down there, sure enough a skunk was just right behind the stairs looking right at me. I knew skunks are horrible climbers, so I wasn't so worried about having a skunk chasing after me, I was more worried about the risk of getting sprayed by a skunk. Lucky I didn't. *whew* But... the bad thing is my house got invaded by the odor in the middle of the night, I woke up because the smell was so strong!, I could even smell it in the morning at 7 am.
So I called another place an animal control unit just before I went in for work, unfortunately they were not taking any emergency calls, so I left a message along with a phone number where I can be reached. I haven't heard back from them all day, I waited and waited, still no respond. It's very frustrated.
So I decided to do this on my own, set up a trap, and now waiting for the skunk to get trapped in. I don't like this plan, but what other choices do I have?
I was told to use dried blood meal to get rid of skunk , or you could try getting wolf pee to scare it away! Once the skunk is gone you should close up the opening so it can't get back in. That what being done to my place. The skunk was stinking up the whole house!
I also heard of the dried worm meal. I used moth balls. It helped to keep it from under the house. It just drove the skunk to come inside my house!
Oh my!
Cheri,
Did you get rid of it yet?
How did you get the skunk out of your house without getting sprayed!?
