What irks me the most, is when people say things they dont mean, why they even SAY it?? It pisses me off to no end when people say things then turn around and say "Oh i dont mean it" well, why SAY IT if you dont mean it?? You know what i mean? I just hate that grrrr!
I feel exactly the same way as you do.

It's a shame when you think someone is your friend but then realize they've been talking crap behind your back, then your only choice is to turn your back to them, unless you want to go around 2 faced which ain't my thing.

However, I do know how to forgive my "enemies" but that doesn't mean I'm going to be their friend. I'll be nice to them and treat them with respect, sure, but trusting that person don't come easy. But, hey, that's just me.

One thing I practice not doing at AllDeaf is siding up with another party (favorism) because they want me to believe they're right and the other person is wrong, or because they're my friends and I should "support" them. I'm sorry but that ain't happening. Don't hate me for that, I just believe that a moderator should try to remain neutral when dealing with conflicts between parties. It's sad that a lot of deaf forum administrators/moderators out there think otherwise, and they encourage threads/posts to make someone else look bad so they can make themselves look "good", or simply to attract attention to their forum. They claim it's freedom of speech, yea right. They are not leaders, they're puppets run by puppeteers.

Now, I expect all members to abide by the Forum Rules. The Forum Rules were created to keep AllDeaf under control and friendly as possible, just like we have a state Government, and they were not meant to be violated with. If you don't like it, that's fine, move on to a different forum. Every forum has their own rules. And if you noticed a member being banned or website being censored, that's because they violated you know what. For further information, please go to http://www.alldeaf.com/showthread.php?t=95

As you can see, I stick with what I believe in. I'm not implying that I'm perfect, but I do try my best to be fair with everyone and make the right decisions around here. Like many members said in this thread, if there's something that needs to be resolved with another member, we encourage you to talk to them and try to resolve conflicts or misunderstandings yourselves. Otherwise, come to me or any of the moderators, and we'll do our jobs.

Enjoy your weekend. :)

I totally agree with you in there. It's all true. I believe it is all wrong for a 3rd party to butt in between 2 parties. The 2 parties should be left alone and deal with their own problems themselves otherwise, they both can go to their separate ways. This will make your AD more healthier this way.

Thanks for sharin' your sayings here. I appreciate it since we, the ADers people know you are the boss/owner of AD. *Chuckles*

Have a nice Happy Easter this comin' weekend, everyone ! :)

CyberRed and kuifje75- this is one of good examples, why I do not come by and post very often. What also makes me disgusted is that some posters would tell the Moderators what to do like moving or deleting posts rather than suggesting that privately.

Yeah I know Brian I agree with you..

Exactly, CR. Although I am no longer a moderator here, during my time here as a moderator, I have had people trying to get favours from me only to learn that they cannot do it with me. And now I am disliked for it. Oh well, can't please everyone. A moderator is not a babysitter, and should be used as a LAST RESORT to butt into people's problems. It is good idea to keep your grudges off-forum. :)

Kuifje75 I never Once tried to get Favors from you...or Butt's In other people's Business I hope you get that Right...Or Pmed you or telling u what to do or ask you what to do..

Hi Alex,

I know exactly how you feel and it shows how good of a job you are doing in here and I know it must be hard at times for you but I have seen you handling AD with much respect, understanding, being firm with the rules you have applied ....Also, it's Great to see that you don't name names or speak badly about another forum or posts here :) ....

I know what it must feel to be around someone who is being two-face and personally I could NOT consider myself being that or doing that!!!!...I do know someone ( No, It's not you CyberRed, honestly) here and has posted a bunch of lies which none of it is actually true..I've NEVER once talked to that person in pm and not once asked anyone to have favor over me against someone else...It really turned me off that some people can't be more honest with others including myself....I get tired of all the backstabbings, lies, that seems to go on forever like they have nothing better to do!!!...If someone wants to talk about others behind their back, I expect them to get their posts straight and BE honest because what goes around comes back to you....

I have NO intention or willfully want to act two-face and go behind someone's back....I have dealt with the pain and sufferings when someone has gone behind my back and it's not a pleasant thing to go through and I sure wouldn't want to do that to someone else!!!!....

For those of you who intentionally have gone behind my back, I've gotten STRONGER by not letting this bother me as much as it did in the past, My True Friends have been and continue to be supportive and given me much encouragements....I have learned a great deal to turn my back on the things that is NOT worth my time to be upset over with.....

Yes.. I recover that Just Recently how someone You thought is your friend turned their back and Talked about someone behide their back and Cannot say that in front of Their Face....

I also Agree with you on Forgiving My "Enemies" But, Some do not know when to stop...I have Recover something New that I Never Imaged that a "Friend" of mine as I thought of her as a friend Betrayed me...just because there is a Circle of Friends They Decide who cares if we are talking about a another Friend and make a post about that person.. And It's like a stabbed in the back...
