How Do You Feel Today?

I spent the evening cleaning tonight. We got our dyson back from the repair shop. Wow, it does MUCH better. On the paper they wrote they replaced the brush bar.

No, I am still grieving over the death of my beloved Sussi. I miss her terrible... :(

I'm feeling more or less good today... 4 days off from work soon YAY!

I haven't been sick in years... which scares me a little bit because eventually this will catch up with me and I guess it will be bad than. When I'm sick it always lasts an entire week :( hate it!

Wish everybody who is sick here to get better fast!!!! :grouphug:

I also feel down, but for different reasons:

1) I just came back from a vacation in Greece and I didn't want to leave.
2) Long day at work after being SO jetlagged.
3) Lost my camera on the very last day in Greece, losing over 600 beautiful pictures I took. (I am currently calling places to see if they can find it, but chances are slim.)

At least my cat, Barnaby, is cheering me up.

:eek3: Lost your camera. That has to really hurt!

I woke up ( it is 3:00 AM) coughing so hard. My chest feels tight so I just got up and got on the computer with the hopes that sitting up will help loosen up my chest. I hope I am not getting pneomonia again.

My husband is sick too..he is feverish now. Oh boy.

I have a devil of a toothache right now. I ate pizza for dinner and think I may have irritated a tooth, so it looks like I'll be headed to the dentist first thing tomorrow. Hear Again, who HATES going to the dentist. :mad2:

I don't like going to dentist either.... with all these uncomfortable tools in your mouth :mad2:

shel,

Why not sleep in a recliner? I have coughing spells due to my asthma and I find that sleeping in a recliner or keeping my head elevated with several pillows underneath it helps. You may also want to go to the drugstore and purchase Vicks to open up your airways.

Yep. Going to the dentist brings back painful memories of when I used to wear braces as a teenager. I had a cranky orthodontist who always used to lecture me on keeping my braces clean even though that was next to impossible given how difficult it is to brush thoroughly between them. He also used to tighten my braces so much that I'd have a headache for days. :mad2:

Fortunately, the dentist I have now is wonderful. He's very nice and always takes the time to explain what he's doing. He's not rough in what he does either. I think I may ask to have my tooth pulled if he can't put in a filling. I think it may be chipped, but I don't know for sure. It just hurts like hell.

By the way, I took some Extra Strength Excedrin, but it only helped the pain for a short period of time.

When I go to bed, I may have to knock myself out with a higher dose of my sleep med just to get some sleep.

if it's chipped - they'll simply cement it with something to repair it. I chipped a couple of my teeth. My ex is the dentist and she repaired my chipped tooth last year. no problem.

I have a tendency to grind my teeth in sleep. oh well.....

I am sorry to hear those who aren't well today, looks like there is summer flu going round like wildfire..

Ouch... i am sorry to say that i love my denist! He had been treating me since i was knee high! I watch him grow old and tease him about it!

I also have few chipped teeths which is covered but they keep falling off so i don't bother. They aren't too noticable.

HA i had braces during my teens too, Horrible, I remember the ulcers i get in my mouth from it rubbing...

Charlotte,

Ouch! I know! I remember that too. I used to get painful sores in my mouth from the wires rubbing against the inside of my cheeks.

I also hated wearing a head gear and rubber bands.

Ugh! I hated the whole experience and am glad those days are over!

I think I'm just going to ask my dentist to pull this tooth because the pain is making me very irritable and I'm just about at the end of my rope as far as my patience is concerned.

I have great, healthy teeth anyways, so missing one of them won't matter.

How well does the cement stay in place? If that's all they will do, I'll keep the tooth.

a new technique, I believe - she put the paste on my chipped tooth and then used the UV gun to solidify it. Initially, it will feel funny and it's a noticeable feeling but over time, it will be naturally grind away to smoother, unnoticeable way.

I don't think you should remove it just cuz it's feeling painful. Maybe it's just inflamed.

I ran my tongue over the tooth that's irritated and it isn't chipped. I don't know what my dentist can do about it though. I'll have to buy some Orajel for the pain.

It depend where you have it cemented. I had one of bottom front teeth cemented few times and they just keeps coming off, Really it's for the vainity, I am not bothered now , with half a tooth! People do ask I tell them how it happened i was involved in head on crash with my late best friend, we were aged 8, my teeth went through the lip.

I remember having wax to cover the sharp bits... I had the rubber bands inside my mouth at the back.

sometimes you wouldn't know if it's chipped or not. My chipped tooth wasn't irritated though. Maybe it's a cavity. I guess you'll have to sit tight and wait in the morning to find the culprit.

meanwhile.... better do something that will keep your mind off it.

Jiro,

That's why I'm surfing AD. It's kind of hard to keep your mind off of pain that hurts like hell. :mad2:
