She also, if you know anything about her, got to the point where there was little benefit. Even if there was some, add her blindness to that equation and she NEEDED a CI for her own safety and peace of mind.

Why don't you yell at me for awhile? My daughter was clearly benefitting from her hearing aids and I chose to implant her. I dared do it without her permission, before she was old enough to decide for herself.
Hear Again was an adult that chose it for herself. My daughter was butchered by a hearing parent....Oh, and medicaid paid for it too!
