How are you feeling today?....

I am feeling so happy because a lot of good things happened today! :D

I am feeling so exhausted after a day of teaching kids, then hosting a professional development workshop for my coworkers to train them on STEM education, and coming home to cook dinner. *THUD*

Aggravated: does pulling hair, running in circles, and screaming help?? Ok so the drs told me I'm deaf then patted me on the back with a go getem sport idea. I have learned my area does not have any resources unless you are a child, student, or have plenty of money; none of which describe me. I am trying my hardest to keep my chin up but I am running out of ideas. So I am aggravated, upset, worried, scared and trying to see if I lose face by giving in to the urge to just cry.

Not too good. I finally got a diagnosis from the neurologist. I have stage 2 Parkinson's disease. I started my meds today. I'm feeling tired and nauseated.

Sorry to know about your condition, I wonder why such things seem to happen to good people? You have a CNS degenerative condition, my aunt was unofficially diagnosed with a PNS (Cerebellum) degenerative condition. It's assumed it is a recessive mutation trait, which firmly puts me at slight risk for it too. Wish you all the best Reba!

Reba - so sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but glad you are able to take something for it. Best wishes for this and hugs.

I am feeling pretty good in spite of all the money I spent yesterday. All at the vet and most was for the flea/tick prevention and the heartworm prevention. Other than that, medicine for 2 ear infections.

Trainer and I are working out a plan for training that will be different than originally planned due to some new issues.

Thank you.

Doctor told me that there is a genetic element to Parkinson's but I don't know of any other family member who had it.

Thank you. I was told that the medicine takes about three weeks to kick in any benefits.

Hope your doggy gets better soon. The physical problems might be a distraction to the training process.

Thanks, She has been showing some dog reactivity due to not being socialized properly when she was younger. Along with regular training, we will be doing Behavioral Adjustment Training (BAT) and remedial socialization. Glad I have a good and knowledgeable trainer willing to work with me.

Well I still feel like crap.
Stupid ear infection... double lectures today (So extra exhaustion) and horrible week at work.\I can't wait for the weekend...

Reba, I didn't see your post. I am sorry about the news. Hopefully the treatment will help successfully!

You are new. They took time warming up to me, too. Just be patient, and they will to you, as well, but bitching about it is NOT the way to get on our good side. You have to interact a little more, and get to know us. I'm still learning new members and members who have been here a while; this is just my 4th month, but I wouldn't say that I have earned everyone's trust yet-- I still have work to do.

RR that is generic Allegra are you buying it over the counter? Don't want to see you getting overcharged. That is great it is working for you. You can buy it online through Wal-Mart for pretty cheap.

I've been following the study of allergy meds Zyrtec and Allegra showing they "may" cause weight gain. Need to blame it on something. hahaha

I used to take Clartin-D generic allergy medicine, and it worked quite well, with just one problem-- it knocked me out, so when my prescription for it expired, I didn't renew it, and things have improved since then, but I forgot the generic name for it. Oh well.
