Hate new cars

High quality parts? Are you sure? If its so true, howcome their warranty sucks? Today Honda is NOT as great as it used to be back in 70's and 80's.

Yes, my parent had Honda cars for years and there were recalls too, also their battery got bad so earlier - my mother's 2005 Honda Accord and the battery died in 2006 after 1 year of ownership.

It doesn't matter where the cars are made. It matters what manufacturers design. For example, Honda has high quality parts while some others (especially American cars) don't. THUS, Honda and other Japanese cars are more expensive than American cars. Didn't you notice that auto insurances on Japanese cars cost higher? Insurance for my car, Scion tC costs me $800/yr while ins for my wife's van, Chrysler Town and Country costs her $650/yr. They are both 7 years old.

Japanese cars have very high auto theft.

I rather to get American trucks - Ford or Dodge so not many people want steal those trucks.

The Accord has been named to the Car and Driver 10Best Cars list for the 28th time—a record unsurpassed by any other vehicle.

Its only a bunch of judges that is all! It is easy to be biased. Sorry buddy!

My dad once owns accord and regretted owned one.

I already drove KIA when I was teen and hated it and their quality is so cheaper.
Yeah, in the past, KIA and Hyundai sucked. BUT now they are greatly improving. They actually compete with Japanese cars and other import cars (never mind American cars which still suck). Before, they couldn't compete.

Have you drove American trucks?

American sedans are no good, but they are BEST for trucks.

I picked Mazda because of gas and school. (I have Mazda6)

After completion of college degree, I'm going trade my car with truck.

:laugh2: Those judges are DRIVERS. That's their jobs to test-drive the cars. Biased on what? Bribe???

Very funny, opposite of your Dad, One old deaf friend used to hate Japanese cars because of crowded engine under the hood. He kept his old large Buick until it broke down MANY times. His friends recommended Honda Accord to him so he bought it and loves it. He doesn't hate Japanese cars anymore.

Call that capitalism, don't forget. You think bribes don't exists? Do you have any idea who these judges have relationships with?

If all judges is sitting on Honda stocks, they would most likely going to choose Honda over others so that they don't lose money on these stocks. That is one example of hidden bias going on. Or even if judge son in law works for Honda, he probably put Honda in favor... Money itself has the power to create biased climate.

There are so much hidden BS out there that you don't even realize exists. I have seen enough.

And guess what? I am too a DRIVER!

Is it your job to test-drive all cars? No? Then you are just a commute driver like me. Those work-related drivers test-drive hundreds of new cars every year. They know what they are talking about.

BTW, you DON"T have proof, do you? Do you think Cadillac backs off if they find out that the judges take bribes from Lexus or Audi named the best luxury sporty car of the year? :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: You have seen enough of what?

I lost count on how many cars I have driven in my lifetime, and lost count how many cars I have owned. LOL!

My dad had drivers license for almost every possible vehicle types and weight, including school bus, hazmat. I think the only license he don't have is tandem trailer, and chauffer/livery. My dad don't like tandem trailer hauling. Very difficult to drive.

You proved your own age, your just young! LOL!

Plenty of plants all over the world, including America... Who cares?
From the first link in your post #282,

My 2008 Honda Civic has an ongoing problem with peeling and flaking paint. The recall did cover the cost of repainting the trunk, roof and hood. However Honda will not cover the cost to repaint the passenger side of the car around the windows. This paint is the worst area on the car. My dealer said it is not covered by the recall and want me to pay part of the expense. I think Honda should be responsible for making the car whole without any cost to me.

No wonder American workmanship at that factory sucks.

I just checked my car's VIN. It was made in Japan, thank God. No wonder my car has no problems since 2007. If it was made in USA, I would be disappointed.

I never own american cars before. Just Japanese and Europe vehicles. Too many of my friends got problem with their american cars and rare happen to my old Subaru for 7 years. Just replaced the oxygen sensor and that's it. I drove american many times and they feels like cheap and ugly design.

Outside looks nice

But inside looks ****ing ugly!

Why GM use Malibu or Impala's steering wheel for $75,000 2014 CAMARO Z/28!?!?

So I like Subaru's design better.

That's what insurance or anti theft trace for.

Btw Ford trucks are top 3 for stole too.

Agreed. If I want truck then I would buy 90's Dodge with 5.9 cummins, 6 speed manual, and 4x4. I am not big fan of automatic transmissions because they suck and boring for me.

Oh well, at least, I don't live closer to border or Phoenix or Washington state that where auto theft is extremely prolong.
