I think the people who simply wish to live in a violence-free world and both sides need to understand each other. It's time to talk.
LUNZ said:Do you support the idea of the Gun possession for personal use at home for protest youself? Do you think gun kill the people? or Gun with the people kill the people? that would reduce the crime? what is your opinion about gun control?
I am not pro-gun. Those who support the disarming of the population get caught in the narrow debate and miss the big picture and context in which it is happening, they and their children will live to deeply regret this lack of vision and foresight. I would not pull a trigger to save my life. I would rather die standing up for peace than live by adding to the violence. I see dies every years and I don’t see the gun solutions.

I am for the gun. Do you think that once they eliminated all guns from the people (to take away their rights to arm) and then Marshall Law begins ? I am curious what's your opinion to that one.
LUNZ said:marshall Law? why not? can we shall create new law if we both are mate in white house and will u work it out? This is time to talk with honest intention of finding out the absolute truth. Gun or No Gun?
If we take away guns, they will still use knives or baseball bats. It won't end.CyberRed said:Lunz,

But, knifes and baseball bats can be more brutal. It only depends on how they are used. One gunshot kills a person. Several stabbings could leave a person dead with guts hanging out. Several baseball bat beatings could leave a person dead with deformed broken bones, caved in skulls, etc. Which would you rather see in a coffin at a funeral... a person who died from a chest gunshot wound or a person who died from a beating all over his/her body from a knife/baseball bat?RedRum said:Guns :rl: are more dangerous than knife/baseball bats because this tiny equipment can kill lots of people within few seconds alot easier!!! :rl: :rl:

I'm not gonna do anything about those weapons. I'm just saying that taking away guns isn't gonna solve the problem.CyberRed said:Of course. If, the companies don't make knives or baseballs, then we can't have the pleasure to play baseball in the field with kids or usin' the knives to cut up the meats, veggies, potatoes..etc.,etc.
It's the same with chemicals (bleach, ammonia, etc., etc) that people could use to blow up (to kill them) anywhere....
Care to tell me what we are gonna do about it, Vampy ?

That's true. It usually depends. A lot of my friends who went to funerals had open-coffins. It would be traumatic for the parents or friends if they could not view the body due to it being beaten beyond recognition.RedRum said:I went to several funerals but never see any open-casket coffin in my life! People can view the deceased in open-casket coffin prior to the funeral day, as its not popular.

I once saw an episode of Family Guy that had a very good example of why guns should not be banned! Heh!
CyberRed said:Absolute truth ? Well, if there's NO gun...then, we won't be protecting ourselves or our families. If, there's gun...then, we could protect ourselves/families. It depends on where you live.
In Alaska here, I've seen some people bringin' out their rifles in public. But, they don't shoot anyone. They brings their riftles in their trucks and drive away for huntin'. It's NICE to see people carryin' their own rifles. I like to see some "people" to have their own "power" to control their rights just like I am seein' some people carryin' their rifles. They are not afraid. They are fearless. So, I am for the gun !

I agree with you. The media also controls what we see.LUNZ said:They dont shoot anymore, but they shoot somebody that you dont find the news. that is their real agenda that you dont see.

Actually, box cutters could be more lethal than a firearm. It actually depends on how it's used. I could shoot someone in the arm and he would survive. However, if I slashed someone in the arm... it could cause a person to lose more blood quicker and be at greater risk of dying. The reason for this is because of how our bodies react to cuts and other damages. When you shoot a person, they don't bleed immediately because it's fast and sudden. However, when you cut a person... it's bigger and slower. That will result in faster bleeding than a gunshot wound. It all depends on how it's used.coffeeeeman said:So I guess box cutters in the wrong hands is less lethal than a firearm...I know three airliners that would disagree with that.
