I think the people who simply wish to live in a violence-free world and both sides need to understand each other. It's time to talk.

Robert Heinlein once said that "the meek shall inherit the earth—but only a three by six foot plot."

Do you support the idea of the Gun possession for personal use at home for protest youself? Do you think gun kill the people? or Gun with the people kill the people? that would reduce the crime? what is your opinion about gun control?

I am not pro-gun. Those who support the disarming of the population get caught in the narrow debate and miss the big picture and context in which it is happening, they and their children will live to deeply regret this lack of vision and foresight. I would not pull a trigger to save my life. I would rather die standing up for peace than live by adding to the violence. I see dies every years and I don’t see the gun solutions.

Lunz,

I am for the gun. Do you think that once they eliminated all guns from the people (to take away their rights to arm) and then Marshall Law begins ? I am curious what's your opinion to that one.

marshall Law? why not? can we shall create new law if we both are mate in white house and will u work it out? This is time to talk with honest intention of finding out the absolute truth. Gun or No Gun?

Absolute truth ? Well, if there's NO gun...then, we won't be protecting ourselves or our families. If, there's gun...then, we could protect ourselves/families. It depends on where you live.

In Alaska here, I've seen some people bringin' out their rifles in public. But, they don't shoot anyone. They brings their riftles in their trucks and drive away for huntin'. It's NICE to see people carryin' their own rifles. I like to see some "people" to have their own "power" to control their rights just like I am seein' some people carryin' their rifles. They are not afraid. They are fearless. So, I am for the gun ! :thumb:

If we take away guns, they will still use knives or baseball bats. It won't end.

Guns :rl: are more dangerous than knife/baseball bats because this tiny equipment can kill lots of people within few seconds alot easier!!! :rl: :rl:

But, knifes and baseball bats can be more brutal. It only depends on how they are used. One gunshot kills a person. Several stabbings could leave a person dead with guts hanging out. Several baseball bat beatings could leave a person dead with deformed broken bones, caved in skulls, etc. Which would you rather see in a coffin at a funeral... a person who died from a chest gunshot wound or a person who died from a beating all over his/her body from a knife/baseball bat?

Of course. If, the companies don't make knives or baseballs, then we can't have the pleasure to play baseball in the field with kids or usin' the knives to cut up the meats, veggies, potatoes..etc.,etc.

It's the same with chemicals (bleach, ammonia, etc., etc) that people could use to blow up (to kill them) anywhere....

Care to tell me what we are gonna do about it, Vampy ? :)

I'm not gonna do anything about those weapons. I'm just saying that taking away guns isn't gonna solve the problem.

I once saw an episode of Family Guy that had a very good example of why guns should not be banned! Heh!

I went to several funerals but never see any open-casket coffin in my life! People can view the deceased in open-casket coffin prior to the funeral day, as its not popular.

That's true. It usually depends. A lot of my friends who went to funerals had open-coffins. It would be traumatic for the parents or friends if they could not view the body due to it being beaten beyond recognition.

Yeah, I can understand you. *Chuckles* Everyone has their own different point of views about the guns and what the guns did to people. Guns give no pains when die quickly...but baseballs, knives, and other kind of weapons *wince* it will make the people to suffer for a long time or for awhile until death. Baseballs, knives and other kind of weapons are makin' a BIG mess.

As its for me, gun is for killin' the Elks, Moose, Caribous, quails, rabbits, and so on for survival in the bush if, anythin' should happen bad in the city. It would be nice to have arrows and bow to shoot rather than guns, because some people can make their own arrows/bow out of the woods and rocks and find some feathers from peacocks. lol

It would be wiser not to live in the city where there's a high crime involved or nearby. Some people are very smart to live in very small cities with NO crimes involved or live in an isolated area to where there's a very FEW neighbors around. I live on an exile mainland.

I noticed that some men who are mountain guys that are very smart better than city men. Mountain guys are tough and they knows how to survive in the bush, because of their talents and skills. They learned many things from Indians or through some friends. One of my close friends called me "a true deaf pioneer". LOL

Well, it's goin' to be very interestin' to see what the ADers are sharin' their point of views and what their feelings about the guns. I can see their reactions, their anger, their fears, and all that emotions about the guns. Ummm.... I think that guns are very useful for some reasons, but in other hand, it is not.

It's pro and con debates....over protection, killin' and survival.

They dont shoot anymore, but they shoot somebody that you dont find the news. that is their real agenda that you dont see.

nothing would what it is,
because everything would be what it isnt
and contrary-wise-what it is, it wouldnt be.
and what it wouldnt be, it would.

you see?

I know what you are talkin' about. *Chuckles* It happens everyday. Nothin' is new. They know how to pull the wool over people's eyes...or shall I say, they know how to pull the wool over people's ears? :laugh2: Enjoy your day !

I agree with you. The media also controls what we see.

So I guess box cutters in the wrong hands is less lethal than a firearm...I know three airliners that would disagree with that.

Actually, box cutters could be more lethal than a firearm. It actually depends on how it's used. I could shoot someone in the arm and he would survive. However, if I slashed someone in the arm... it could cause a person to lose more blood quicker and be at greater risk of dying. The reason for this is because of how our bodies react to cuts and other damages. When you shoot a person, they don't bleed immediately because it's fast and sudden. However, when you cut a person... it's bigger and slower. That will result in faster bleeding than a gunshot wound. It all depends on how it's used.
