A gun in the hands of educated, trained child is much safer than the hands of most angry, murderous adults. I truly really fail to see how is it very dangerous when it's been a tradition in America for many decades.

many childs were taught to hunt, survive, eat, identify poisonous species, ride horse, etc. at very very young age. it is very sad to see you are discouraging a child to become a very capable adult. you prefer a child to be a sheep... a useless person... no sir - not my own child. he will learn everything, many things including weapons because he/she would understand how dangerous it is and will respect it.

ever wonder who are defending this country? hundreds of thousands of proud soldiers who were raised and taught with guns at early age.

I totally respect your stance on guns. Just gotta ask you this. Are you really sure that our government fears us? With all the layers of police we have in America and their military level equipment do we really stand a chance?

let me ask you this - are you really sure that our government is the government?

the "government" you speak of is a very very very very tiny minority. do you know who they are and what they're like? exactly like you. fortunately - there are many people in the government who are patriotic and honest law-abiding citizens like us.

Are you serious? This is getting ridiculous. There are many more senseless shootings in this country and many from children who have been taught at an early age how to handle and shoot firearms with deadly force, all you have to do is look at the number of school shootings that were done by children who knew how to shoot and did it with deadly accuracy.

Why would anyone keep a lion in their house? That is so insane and cruel to the animal . If it kill someone the poor animal will have to down b/c it was a 'bad' kitty and this really about the owner being a 'stupid' owner

Support your post. Go find out how many school shootings there have been, perpetrated by children, and ones that have been trained to shoot with deadly accuracy.

What about a lawn chemical sprayer? Can I add that to the list I gave?

Who in their right minds keeps a loaded firearm in their nightstand? I have motion activated mini guns that pop up like lawn sprinklers... I mean geez!

There have been many, but the one that really comes to mind is that wackaloon kid who shot his mother before going to the school and shooting I think 28 kids and teachers in Sandy Hook in 2012. He had extensive training in the handling of guns by his wacko mother to protect against the intruders and invaders that were coming. It's just to bad he didn't just kill his mother and then turn the gun on himself. Since Sandy Hook in 2012 there have been 74 additional shootings at schools and many done by students.
 
He wasn't a kid. He was 20, and def not a student at the elementary school. You can't just make claims, back them up. There have actually been very very few mass shootings at schools.

That is an excellent idea! All you would need to add is a section of a broom handle to fashion an atlatl, some duct tape and a long thin wood dowel. You can fold a length of duct tape in half to make a wrist strap for the atlatl, and, to attach the pickle fork to the end of the wood dowel. You would have enough velocity to stop a charging rhino.

Once a gun nut always a gun nut! I didn't want to waste my time, he was the first to come to mind, yes, he was 20 but, his nutty mother had him shooting guns at an early age.

The instructor changed the selector switch on the UZI from a single shot to full automatic. This will empty the entire clip if held. Soldiers in WWII had automatic Thompsons and Browning (BAR)s. They were good for spraying a large area, not for precision shooting. This girl should never have been given anything to shoot except a BB or .22. This instructor was reckless and careless. A shooting range is like any other business, there are times when you must say no sale.
