Garmin Nuvi Recall

I used to have TomTom GPS, but I lost it somewhere. I bought a Garmin, but I suspected that it may be defective and recalled. I have not looked up my serial number yet.

I still have not decided to buy a new one...TomTom or Garmin????

It s not old. it s 1 1/2 years old. I will try to check updated software for it later.

No, it was released in 2005 but don't know when it was discontinued, probably around 2007.

my garmin 255w were whack: touch screen is whack because it is NOT funcation..i was like, dayum, another bug. why am i getting two gps that have bugs in. DAYUM.

i need to find gps that dont give me a much bad luck.
We've been pleased with our two Garmins, no problem. I'm sorry you got lemons.

same. I have 2 Garmins and 1 TomTom. gotta love the sale and used.

We have a third GPS; it's a built-in system in the Jeep Cherokee but it's not a Garmin. The Garmins are better.

I don't know what model of Garmin he have. I think he told me that he paid it for $100. That's why your Garmin cost $200-$300. :giggle:

not the Garmin for car. got it for less than $100 during sale. I have Nuvi 205

You forget to tell other device about your BB which includes GPS. :giggle:

BB is not TRUE GPS. When network carrier is out of range then GPS load is very SLOW like hell or won't work at all for load a map.

Try your iPhone to disable carrier and let me to know how GPS do.

btw - good morning, ya'all

Good morning and a little off topic tip re your GPSs: When inputting information, never input your home address. Just input your nearest cross street or further out if you know the area well. This helps if your device is stolen from you.

:hmm: good point

How about using the address of your nearest police station for your Home?
