Nope, but we can just move on. :)

I already did quite a while ago. not sure if you're lost or something but I'll wave.

can you see me? find me yet?

No, releasing the name of the accuser would not be the crime....creating "emotional distress" or a "hostile workplace" would be the action. Even in those cases the remedy would be civil rather than criminal except for really extreme cases. In fact, even what the accusers have done would most likely not merit criminal charges. Except, of course, for potentially intimidating someone engaged in the political process.

But, if you can cite a criminal code where releasing the name of someone who publicly confronts you is a crime....all by itself.... I would love to see it.

That reminds me of a criminal prosecution rule: The suspect has the right to know, meet, confront their accuser?! :hmm:

IMO, if the accused's name and the reason for the accusing is going to be made public then the accuser(s) names needs also to be made public. Keep in mind that this rule would not apply to an agency that is required by law to keep the WHOLE process secret. However, it would apply to the media and those outlets reporting news stories (i.e. Yahoo). Fair is fair.

Man this thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Only deaf communities and some hearing communities (in DC metro) know about situation with McCaskill, so looks not bigger as Zimmerman/Martin case.

In here, I never heard about incident with Gallaudet University, outside of online news.

but.... this isn't a criminal prosecution. since it is an internal matter, the suspect does not have the right to know, meet, confront their accuser if a formal complaint has been filed against him/her.

Of course they do.... And regardless, in this case McCaskill knew because she was confronted publicly first.

Edit to add: "Right" technically no.... It's up to the employer....But if the employer chooses not to provide the info the case is probably going to court.

It is local news, not Fox News Channel.

Too bad for you because it is still affiliated with FOX News. Houston has a local Fox outlet and so does B'ham. Both are affiliated with FOX News.

Incorrect, both of local Fox (It is known as Fox Broadcasting Company) and Fox News Channel are not same, so both of them have different policies, also local Fox include TV shows, in combined with local news.

I have no issue with local Fox in Birmingham but hate Fox News Channel, so your teasing "say too bad" to me isn't work.

Oh, how convenient it must be for bullies to get away with bullying if it is an internal matter ... :hmm:

Both the local channels and FOX News are the property of Fox Broadcasting Corporation and Fox Broadcasting Corporation has one and only one policy for all their properties. In otherwords, the locals take their orders/commands from headquarters just like FOX News does. They are affiliated.
Nevertheless, the other news outlets will bury the story.
