:eek3: Seriously you are going to vote based on what moon is in what planet? :ugh3:

So you base your trust on planets???? Scary.

Whoever vote for Hillary, they're idiot like who vote for Bush.

Which one do you think they will be excellent for Democratic? Why or why not?

Edwards, John
Former Senator; 2004 Presidential Candidate

He has Venus in Taurus(conservative sign)... Venus, planet of love...
that is why he is against gay marriage. 2 planets in Libra(civil rights)...
he likes working for African Americans' rights. Pluto in Libra - powerful leader.

I am very sorry that you are WRONG.

Gay is not a unlove subject, I have been seeing many of gay couples and they are happy and loving each other, not using each other. Duh...

Plus... Edward did NOT against the gay marriage. Read your link very carefully:

Despite being personally conflicted on the subject of same-sex marriage, Edwards is opposed to a constitutional amendment banning it[57], and has stated on the campaign trail that he would like to get rid of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

This quote was found at the Political views part, at the LAST sentence.

And what's more, this link said that he rather to LET OTHER STATES TO DECIDE THEMSELVES.

Edwards opposes a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, preferring to leave that decision up to individual states.[4] He does support civil unions and partnership benefits.[4]

Political positions of John Edwards - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He's very neuteral to the GLBT issue.

Well I heard him say NO to gay marriage on Democratic Debate on CNN, that is why the Black preacher, on YouTube, was asking question to John Edwards.

But John Edwards' wife, Elizabeth supports gay marriage.

COOPER: This next question is for Senator Edwards.

QUESTION: I'm Reverend Reggie Longcrier. I'm the pastor of Exodus Mission and Outreach Church in Hickory, North Carolina.

Senator Edwards said his opposition to gay marriage is influenced by his Southern Baptist background. Most Americans agree it was wrong and unconstitutional to use religion to justify slavery, segregation, and denying women the right to vote.

So why is it still acceptable to use religion to deny gay American their full and equal rights?

(APPLAUSE)

EDWARDS: I think Reverend Longcrier asks a very important question, which is whether fundamentally -- whether it's right for any of our faith beliefs to be imposed on the American people when we're president of the United States. I do not believe that's right.

I feel enormous personal conflict about this issue. I want to end discrimination. I want to do some of the things that I just heard Bill Richardson talking about -- standing up for equal rights, substantive rights, civil unions, the thing that Chris Dodd just talked about. But I think that's something everybody on this stage will commit themselves to as president of the United States.

But I personally have been on a journey on this issue. I feel enormous conflict about it. As I think a lot of people know, Elizabeth spoke -- my wife Elizabeth spoke out a few weeks ago, and she actually supports gay marriage. I do not. But this is a very, very difficult issue for me. And I recognize and have enormous respect for people who have a different view of it.

I'm with Schermy.....Hitlery (that's how you pronounced her name. :D) is scary as hell.

I'm with Reba. Choosing the color of skins and genders are racist. You ought to look at their backgrounds, opinions, and more. For example, IF Powell Colin going to run for president, I would vote for him, not on his color, because of his experience with the presidents, as a Secretary of Defence, a general in the United States Army, second-in-command for Desert Storm Operation, and Vietnam veteran.

I know that. I am not crass or dense. :ty:

There are some Pro and Con about runners. I am still study and thinking what to vote. I guess this year is very difficult.

I really don't know but I do need to research more..

So, this is civil rights issue.

John Edwards personally doesn't support gay marriage due to his religion. He did say he is conflicted by that. However, he believes in civil unions and would let gays serve in military. He said that he'll get rid of DOMA. Several years ago, he said that he will let each state decide about civil unions and gay marriage.

He believes that SC should remove the Confederate flag from the state capital grounds.

Obama Barack opposes DOMA. He personally believes that marriage is between a man and a woman. However, he also believes that gay couples should be able to visit each other in the hospital & share health care benefits. He opposes gay marriage and supports civil unions and gay equality.

He thinks that the Confederate flag should be put in a museum

Hillary Clinton believes in civil unions and gay equality. She did say she will let each state decide about gay marriage. She said that DOMA was an important transition step.

Whoever vote for Hillary, they're idiot like who vote for Bush.

No, Hillary is plan to take care of her people's welfare and country, not like Bush who don't take care of his people but spend his people's taxes on the war...

Can you prove that?

Can you prove that?

Because she says so. I know her from TV document and read her books and beleive she take it serious.

Yes Bush job task as president time prove us enough what and how he did.

her great deal are idiot.

Here is the problem, she will change her mind.

Two example...

She vote aye to send solider to Iraq. Later, she want soldier sent back home. What heck?!?!

She vote to against on Same-sex marriage. Later, she willing support same-sex marriage in certain legal. What heck?!?!

So, we don't want a leader who cannot make STRAIGHT decide.

Take care of us? Like her husband and her take care of people in WACO!!! :eek3:

And what about Timothy McVeigh who got ANGRY and blew up
OKLAHOMA Building, under Clinton's watch.

And the Terrorists were learning how to fly planes in Florida
under Clinton watch.

That's not proof. People can say anything. Do you have proof from her previous actions that can support your statement? How do you know she's not just lying to get votes? Did you know that she doesn't same the same thing twice; that she changed her mind and words about the war and immigration problems? Do you know that she won't let people have access to official documents between her and Bill that were part of his presidency? What is she hiding?

What exactly did she say about the war in Iraq?

What is her plan for "taking care" of people's welfare and country? What does "taking care of" mean? Does it include national defense?

What is her solution to the illegal immigration problem?
