Her doctor hasn't yet convinced her?
It's like an alcoholic; they have to be ready to make the changes. Until then, they will either get defensive or ignore your advice.
When she seems ready, then you could offer to share tips and recipes with her.
Just my opinion.
I don't know if she had listened to him or not. She doesn't talk much about it at all. She had a surgery last year, and she seems not to be concerned about it. She still goes out with her husband. Oh, gosh. Her husband is obese. He can walk around, but he sort of limps right and left, because he has a huge belly. The problem is she can be persistent, so I really don't think she is interested in changing her diet nor her husband's diet. I do feel sad for them, to be honest with you. I have been watching her eating lots of breads, pasta, very heavy tomatoes, and anything brown and yellow. I haven't seen her eating green stuff lately. I am not the only one who gave her a few healthy recipes a while ago, but she just is not interested in using them.
