If you didn't owe the taxes then you wouldn't go to jail. You're not making sense.yes I would to avoid going to jail.
I didn't know that Bugs Bunny was Canadian.
I noticed that many over 40-50 years old are on disability and depends on entitlements to survive, even more than millennials.

People go to jail only for illegal tax evasion. They don't go to jail for using legal tax deductions and credits.
Every generation there has generally been a lower turnout in the younger group age 18-25... not just the millennials. I feel like every generation this happens.. people complain the younger one thinks they know it all have it all blah blah blah. Mark my words in about 20 years the same thing will be said about the generations who are currently babies and toddlers. They're young. I can only hope they will grow out of it as they get older... every generation before that have haven't they?
As one of those "40-50/55 year olds currently on disability, I can almost see why. Applying for jobs and interviewing most have 2 strikes against right off the bat (unspoken...) Ageism and a bias against disabled- whether the HR/hiring folks are self-aware they are doing the discriminating. It's a triple or more whammy when you add in LGBTQ and race other than white.
I would rather not be on disability (nevermind I'm amazed I even got approved in the first place) but ... hey...as everyone keeps saying right now... it is what it is...deal with it. Gonna keep looking for full time work. Part time may not cut it (too overqualified, possibly still make too much and get cut off...).

Yes, because he didn't owe any taxes during those years. He had legal losses and deductions. It's common in the business world.Donald Trump Acknowledges Not Paying Federal Income Taxes for Years did you know that?
This is one of the reasons I prefer the Fair Tax.

". . . Known as net operating loss, it allows an array of deductions, business expenses, real estate depreciation, losses from the sale of business assets and even operating losses to flow from the balance sheets of those partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations onto the personal tax returns of people like Mr. Trump. In turn, those losses can be used to cancel out an equivalent amount of taxable income.
With a $916 million net operating loss in 1995, Mr. Trump could have avoided paying more than $50 million a year in taxable income over 18 years...."

I hope he shows them soon.I want to see his tax reports and why he's been refusing to show it ?!?
It was just starting to get to be interesting too.
He went after people that didn't pay their taxes ,then brag about how smart he was for not paying his ! He is so double standard is not funny !
I oppose.I think it's time to lock this thread. We've gone too far off track.
I oppose.
What do you think of calexit?
I would support Calexit to get federal government out of business, also I don't believe that Californians, including your tax money goes to Alabama and Mississippi.
I believe that California will a lot better if run as independent nation, also they will have more money for Californians.
