The protests are crazy. What do they think they can accomplish? Do they think that Trump will say, "Oh, no, they don't like me; I guess I better resign"?

They should have used their energy before the election to get more young people out to vote if they wanted different results.

I think there were protests in previous elections as well but it was first time for social networking, but I do remember about protests after election in 2012.

To me I think we would have seen riots, protests, demonstrations no matter who got elected this time around. Have seen Trump supporters threatening to do so if he wasn't elected.

a very slim chance that Trump may not be the President - https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/key-dates.html

January 6, 2017

The Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes. Congress may pass a law to change this date.

The Vice President, as President of the Senate, presides over the count and announces the results of the Electoral College vote. The President of the Senate then declares which persons, if any, have been elected President and Vice President of the United States.

If a State submits conflicting sets of electoral votes to Congress, the two Houses acting concurrently may accept or reject the votes.
If they do not concur, the votes of the electors certified by the Governor of the State on the Certificate of Ascertainment would be counted in Congress.

If no Presidential candidate wins 270 or more electoral votes, a majority, the 12th Amendment to the Constitution provides for the House of Representatives to decide the Presidential election. If necessary the House would elect the President by majority vote, choosing from the three candidates who received the greatest number of electoral votes. The vote would be taken by state, with each state having one vote.

If no Vice Presidential candidate wins 270 or more electoral votes, a majority, the 12th Amendment provides for the Senate to elect the Vice President. If necessary, the Senate would elect the Vice President by majority vote, choosing from the two candidates who received the greatest number of electoral votes. The vote would be taken by state, with each Senator having one vote.

If any objections to the Electoral College vote are made, they must be submitted in writing and be signed by at least one member of the House and one Senator. If objections are presented, the House and Senate withdraw to their respective chambers to consider their merits under procedures set out in federal law.

January 20, 2017 at Noon—Inauguration Day

The President-elect takes the Oath of Office and becomes the President of the United States.

He should be charged for no paying taxes for 18-20 years, so Trump cant be president until he paid off those amount of $ taxes he didnt pay for 18-20 years. Makes sense?

He should, but he will get away with it just like Hillary Clinton. I've always been known she and Bill are liar. They're not very popular at US Embassy in Mexico City.

Millennials are so spoiled and needy. They want entitlements. No one taught them to step up!

No, it doesn't make sense. Would you pay taxes that you didn't owe?

Reminder to all (including myself) (from post #1):

Not for political debate (no candidate names mentioned).

Thankfully it's not ALL millennials. I know quite a few and 99% of them are NOT spoiled, needy, bratty and entitled and have been taught to step up, fend for themselves, protect others etc. Of the number I know 3 ARE self entitled bratty little monsters because their mothers/parents MADE them that way.

Although I am a millennial, this is the most truthful sentence ever. I feel back for when the president is a millennial. we were never taught to work towards things. we got it easy compared to other generations but we think we are all that and more. the millennial campaign will be, no more work, free handouts, and free food for all.

No one has considered how much hate is in this country right now. Racial hate, Class warfare and just plain disrespect. We really need a lot more Live and let live, we may not like each other but a little respect goes a long way.

Sorry to disagree, but my spouse has nine grandchildren. All but one are smug millennials who think they are entitled. Four are from a well-to-do family and five are from a poorer family, but all expect to have everything without any effort on their part. Only one lives 600 miles from home and works hard to support himself and pay off his education.

I agree but I don't think it is 99%, however the number is hard to tell. Most millennials that I met have jobs and some are married, so fewer people are on SSI or SSDI due to disability or medical issues.

But for deaf people, it is other story, many of them are on SSI or have minimum wage jobs.

I noticed that many over 40-50 years old are on disability and depends on entitlements to survive, even more than millennials.

DD talks about experiences that he met people.

Millennials often to have lower turnout and usually vote third parties than most generations.

I feel hatred out there. Let us move Hearing loss a side as a disability (That is another debate). Why can we let slide his mocking disabled reporter. PC may annoy some of us but what has become of if you do not have something nice to say (You know the rest).
