Deaf Party !!

Must have gotten nasty real fast like those storms we had last night...

Yeah, I think the full moon was influencing a few people.

you are spoiling my Deaf Party

... 100 chicken nuggets plz....

Well it's probably 80% soy filler with 20% actual meat. That meat is a mishmash of white meat, dark meat, and fat trimmings ground up together and stamped into nugget shapes. They also leave a lot of moisture in the meat while it is still raw so they can sell it by the pound to the food chain by the pound. Most food chains know they are getting screwed but they will buy whatever the consumer will eat.

I prefer to buy whole birds straight from the processor, debone them myself and know that I'm getting a good end product.

Mechanically deboned chicken parts.

Yep, that basically means that the various parts are shoved into a narrow sieve where the meat is forced from the bone and sucked out almost liquified. This is from a USDA Inspector as I had inquired about it a while back when I was a USDA Helper for Tyson.

Eeeeewwwww! <barf>:giggle:

Okay - Sunday dinner!!! Got the grills heating up. There will be steaks, BBQ'd chicken, bratwurst, pork and beef ribs, as well as baked potatoes. Also, fire roasted corn on the cob and I will be grilling peaches and nectarines to go with the Ice cream. On the back large grill, we have the baked beans and green beans heating up, and on the Weber grill over here is the cornbread cooking. Hope it all meets with approval.

How do you grill the peaches and nectarines? I've never tried that but it sounds heavenly.

Cut them in half, remove the pit, brush with olive oil and place on grill. (I use charcoal, not gas). After a couple of minutes, turn 1/4 turn to get cross hatching grill marks. Grill for another 5 minutes or so. You want it hot all the way through. Remove and put 1-2 scoops ice cream on the grilled side.

Yum-my! I'm going to try that!!

I think this party needs a pinata, and I have just the person in mind that we could use for that purpose!
