I confess I'm drinking a Boreale Blonde before 5pm.
It's 5 pm somewhere, so you might as well!

Geese have fleas?
Little critters can get a ride on a goose’s back. The closer you are to geese, the more chance you have of coming into contact with mites, ticks, fleas, lice, conenose bugs and other nibbling insects.
What is it that you enjoy about the stick shift? (I don't know how to drive one, so it's a genuine question.)

First of all it's the raw power in your hands (and feet). Second it's the total control over how your car accelerates. Third its the ability to do some fancy driving (double clutch shifting, down shifting to accelerate, up shifting to just coast, taking corners way too fast popping the clutch and spinning the back wheels just to scare the daylight out of the passengers...ect).
Oh, and I do not plan to teach my kids to drive stick!!! I remember the things I did in High School and there is no way I want them doing those things.
Wanna go for a ride with me? I will teach you to do a 360 on wet roads and live to tell about it! ;-)
How about dry roads? I have a friend who got an automatic to do all that. unreal.
Dry roads are really hard on the tires. I used to "smoke" my back tires, but after replacing them a couple of times I decided that was a bit too expensive.
it is expensive, yes.
I like to do all that stuff on snow going downhill in the mountains.
That is so coincidental! They are my favorite colors, as well. They have always been colors I can wear with my red hair! Purple is first, green is second with me.
I actually know people that get laundry out of the dryer immediately. I personally think there is a bit of obsessiveness in that behavior. *smile*
I say, don't let anyone tell you what you should feel. You feel what you feel at any given moment what you are supposed to feel. However, at the same time, I would hope that no matter what you are feeling that you feel better soon!
Sometimes feeling can inspire us to do things we ordinarily wouldn't even consider unless we were feeling something.
Some of the best love songs were written because the writer FELT it themselves. These same songs also have their emotions bleed through to the lyrics and music because the the musician also has felt it.
Other times, the greatest ideas in our time were inspired because some one just felt it.
I just wish that us humans weren't given glass hearts because they break so easily being so fragile. But maybe that's the purpose. Maybe our hearts need to be broken to see what's inside. Often, we find the most amazing beauty and strength we have ever known inside our broken hearts.
Yeah, that's my late night confession.

My father always said he preferred stick over automatic because it makes driving more fun. I really want to learn how to drive a stick.
My brother used to do 360 spins on icy roads when we lived in the countryside. Which was especially innervating considering the road ran parallel to the river, if he was off by a foot or 2...
