I like stick shifts too. A lot of my cars were. Now I've an automatic, which is becoming so boring...

I wanna go for a ride!

My father always said he preferred stick over automatic because it makes driving more fun. I really want to learn how to drive a stick....
I learned how to drive with a stick. All my first cars were stick shift. I enjoyed using a stick on the floor and manual steering with small, sporty cars, especially convertibles. When I had to move up into the "family" car sedans there was no fun in driving stick on the column, so I switched to automatic trans and steering.

The first time I drove with a stick was with a group of my hearing friends when we went camping...one guy decided he wanted to teach me how. So he explained it to me...finally I drove. The car was packed with seven people, all who were trying to teach me. I did ok until we got to the hill that leads to the boat dock area...and going downhill freaked me out...then a kid out of nowhere was crossing the road. The next few seconds is still a blur. Somehow the guy took over and managed to save us all, within a few inches of where the boy was.

It was also my last time to ever touch a stick.

 I would have peed my pants.

I confess that I miss driving with a stick shift. :)

Me too! If my current car was equipped with stick shift, it will make the car feel quicker and more responsive as well.

The car I first learned to drive was a Ford Falcon. It had automatic transmission, of course. It was a fun little car, cherry red.
It makes me sweat to think of the time I floored the gas pedal and drove down the highway at 110 miles an hour while it was raining. Eeek.

i have over 20 perfumes.. will buy anything that smells like flowers :P my favorites are sadie and issey mikaye florale. i don't like perfumes that are too 'heavy' or musky

Then you'd probably like Paris from Yves Saint Laurent. One of my favs.

ahhhhhh-chooooo!...can't wear perfumes anymore....but I do like the scent of honeysuckles......

I had to cover my mouth and nose at Walmart the other day as the lady in front of me at the checkout reeked so heavily of perfume....seems she had taken a bath in it! I opt for scented body powder.

Welcome back!

I confess (and I am horribly embarrassed about this), I do not know how to do a backup of my computer files. I have an external hard-drive and most of my documents are on it, but not everything.

I also am allergic to perfumes. I have one in my drawer from years ago that I just can't bear to part with. It's Avon's Rare Gold. A musk scent that was expensive at the time. This bottle was $45 at the time.

i hate when women wear too much perfume.. gives me a headache! i only use a few sprays

I confess that I'm a sad Southern Baptist drinking a beer. Dos Equis to be exact. It's my favorite beer, goes down smooth.

I feel like I'm going nuts, having one of those weird episodes again with my unmedicated Bi-Polar disorder. I wish I could get some samples of something as I can't afford prescription anything anymore.

Yea I know how you feel, I have fallen to my temptations also this weekend.
