It's his opinion and you need respect his opinion, however socialism isn't bad word to say.

Socialism is defined as more government support to help people.

I have agree with SimpleMan about Obama looks like socialist democrat, just for me.

You just disapprove other's opinion and correct them, it make you looks like least respect that I had seen.

Everyone has different views on Obama, some people said he's not socialist and some people said he's socialist, also it doesn't means you are right.

Who cares about freedom of speech, your point is moot, anyway.

As for me, I don't think he will keep his promises. He can't make his promises to keep promise. His decisions are not followin' through to keep his promises. He thinks of somethin' else to change his promises, thinkin' that somethin' else is better. Yeah, I think he'll keep his promises. He hasn't made any decisions yet as President. He is taking the steps he sees necessary to prepare to keep the proomises he made as a candidate.

One cannot go from step one to step ten, Maria. They have to complete two-nine before the process is complete. You seem to expect that change happens immediately. Given the mess that Obama has stepped into, thanks to the admisistration of the past eight years, change will take time. And he most certainly cannot institute change before he has officially taken office.

:laugh2: i don't know why people these days like to say "socialism/socialist" when they get angry and funny thing is... they don't even know exactly what socialism is!!! It's like in 1940's when people got angry for nothing and pointed at people with "different opinion" - YOU COMMIE BASTARD!

and we had surplus national budget under Clinton Administration and because of that - we had more financial assistance. and now? good luck.... Like I said - PAY YOUR TAX. YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. DON'T BE A DOMESTIC DISSENT.

obama has been called a socialist so many times it isn't even funny -- although i'm sure he enjoys a good laugh out of it just the same.
