What do you mean by "manipulating" his employees? How can he know how they vote in a national election?

at deaf social gathering, I happened to be talking about Obama and politic with 2 older people. One guy is a hearie but a very good friend of my deaf friend. He works at Home Depot and knows ASL well. He is very oblivious to what's going on out there and he has never voted once in his life. That's fine with me and not everybody cares about it.

But other person... I was very appalled at what I was hearing. She's deaf and she works as seamstress with union membership. She was a "proud" Obama supporter and voted for him. As I engaged further in political discussion to find out why she voted for him. It was because her union leader said so. I explained that voting for President is entirely your personal choice and she is free to not vote in it if she doesn't like anybody. She is supposed to vote for one she likes, not what other tells her to. She was dumbfounded at what I was saying and didn't realize it.

Exactly, even the Black Panthers handing out at the polling places with batons had no way of knowing how the people voted once they were in the booth.

How was your Thanksgiving? Mine went pretty well - for the first time ever I had deep fried turkey that was fried in peanut oil - it was really good.

We also had smoked turkey, rotisserie turkey and traditional oven baked turkey.

It is a much better deal to pay for insurance from companies that pay executives 7 and 8 figure salaries, while denying coverage to people because of pre-existing conditions and other loopholes. Way to defend your wealthy heroes!

Do I need to remind you that those two intellectuals are avowed liberals? They did not tell him to 'stfu', as you claim. However, since they could not call him a racist, they tried to attack his credibility - and failed.

Actually lowering the cost of insurance would be accomplished by such things as making it harder for lawyers to win frivolous lawsuits against insurance companies.

Lets see....economy tanks in 2008. My business drops off nearly half. I work twice as hard and spend $$$$ more in advertising to just get back to 2007 levels. Can barely afford temp help.

Obama says he has signed legislation for small businesses to help. All my working capitol dries up. Banks keeps (our) money. And, get stimulus package to make profit from.

2009.....slight improvement after public gives up on their 401K's and gets on with life.

2010....again Obama says he has signed legislation for small businesses to help. Slight improvement after public realizes they need me now matter what and hires me.

2011....Obama says to hire a Vet. Pay him/her $50,000 yr and get a $2,500 tax credit. Woo Hoo! What do I pay them from? My $10,000 net increase from last year.

Maybe I should go the government route. Spend, spend, spend, and when caught, plead guilty, guilty, guilty and enjoy the free food, cell, and exercise yard until I die. :doh:
