Yes, finally I understand... Funny, life insurance for company isn't covered under business course that I took at college, so that why I was confused.

Now, I have answer for Secretblend's last question (Is it wrong?) - my answer is NO, it isn't wrong for company to use life insurance on me for job expansion and other best interest forcompanies.

but of course..... some employers are greedy and evil by murdering their own employees to collect money.

that's just a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny percentage. there are always evil everywhere anyway.

quibbling, aren't we?

bottom line - the mother is not paying with her own dime for the funeral because it came from life insurance money.
Actually, it would come out of her pocket because it takes a long time to get ins money anyway. I know because my grandfather-in-law was buried and my grandmother-in-law borrowed money from us because she hadn't received ins money at that time.

And they risk getting caught and losing out on insurance and their own money too. Most won't even think about doing that.

Yes, same with few companies set their place on fire and hopefully to get money from insurance, that's very EVIL.

Even, very few families do that too if they don't like house or location.

bingo. "insurance" is a risky business. that's why an insurance company also get insured by another insurance company and so on.

it's called UMBRELLA INSURANCE. that prime mortgage scandal was so hardcore that umbrella insurance almost collapsed and it was damaging enough for bunch of companies like Lehman Brother's to go kaput.

I don't need to. I understand what he is trying to say,

I was asking you that question!
Can't you read that he said the purpose of life insurance they buy is to cover retirement benefits? Oh, please...you asked the wrong person!

I seriously doubt it. there must be something in her case that delayed the collection.

when it takes a while to collect the money, it's because there must be an investigation or some legal proceeding to correct/address some discrepancies. you really need to learn how to separate facts with personal anecdotes.

you got it barely right.

I said it's part of many ways to cover benefit package, pension, etc.

Are you saying that the ins co should pay within 1-2 weeks?

I'm not your insurance company. Ask your insurance company how long till they pay out upon your death - provided that they're given proof of death certificates, no evidence of foul play, etc.

Forget it, you totally misunderstood what I was asking/saying.

Oh, what else do they use ins money for? Example; CEOs' mortgages?

I'm going take money from your life insurance to buy AR-15 and lifetime NRA membership. :D
