This is trivial stuff. What I care about is to just inform the general public to focus on other things than trivial stuff. This will bring ratings on the trivial stuff down (who cares about someone like Jenna Jameson getting her tits removed) and educated stuff up.
I don't know Jenna Jameson but I'm sure she has no place in this thread.

If you want to focus on other things, start your own thread.

I was expressing my opinion of this thread. My opinion is directly related to the original post.

I was using her as an example.

*shrug*

Some people just can't take it.

Oh give the Pres. a break, a little socialism never hurt ........... well I can't think of anyone now, but Pres. Barrak can figure it out and tell us what is best for us.

PFH, it might surprise you how much "trivial" stuff is attended to by the US government, the White House as we deal with the rest of the world.

Agreed. :gpost:

Obama isn't socialist to me, even he isn't closer as Chavez does, that is really totally different situation.

That why I said about teabaggers are just ignorant.

I agree with Reba.....there is no reason to be vulgar. I also don't agree with calling people with a different opinion ignorant.

No need for the vulgarity. Radicalists was a term used in the 1960's and radicalism can mean many things to different people.

Do you think JFK would have invited someone who bombed the Pentagon and committed crimes worthy of the electric chair ?

This is precisely what Barrack Obama has done. Bill Ayers. He has not only put people in the government that nobody in their right mind would have in the Obama administration or any administration for that matter.

I can guarantee that JFK is rolling around in his grave over what Obama has done.

The only bright spot in his state of the union address was more jobs staying here in America which I hope happens, More people going to college and job discrimination of Deaf people but on other things, Honestly I am not impressed with Obama's performance as the POTUS.

True Americans think for themselves. Not the big government. :cool2:

This thread isn't about whether or not Obama is a socialist.

This thread is about the Commander in Chief not knowing how to pronounce "corpsmen" the correct way.

Some people just can't take your vulgarity, I'll have you know this.

You can be too much sometimes and I appreciate Reba's class.

She's a very classy lady and to bring a porn star in this discussion is in bad taste, IMHO.

People like you scare me.

Personally I think to become president you must have served in the military. My opinion on this is that for someone that is suppose to be so well spoken and have a good command of English he sure tripped over himself on this one. As time goes by I am less and less impressed with Obama. Now that I think about it that's been the case with many past presidents.

I'm not surprised about Obama don't know about definition of corpsmen and it would obviously because he hasn't been in military service.

I'm sure that some past presidents don't have any military experience either so that's happening.

I'm trying to figure out where's the vulgarity in foxrac's post. in this context - "Teabagger" is defined by New Oxford American Dictionary as "a person who protests President Obama’s tax policies and stimulus package, often through local demonstrations known as ‘Tea Party’ protests (in allusion to the Boston Tea Party of 1773)."

...David Shuster, filling in for MSNBC loose-cannon Keith Olbermann on his April 13 broadcast, and his writers probably thought they were pretty clever when they pieced an item denigrating the tax protests by using the sexual term “teabagging.” Urbandictionary.com, cited multiple times by one MSNBC guest, describes it as when a man places his testicles “onto someone’s face, or into their mouth.”
MSNBC: The Place for Low-Brow 'Teabag' Humor

“For most Americans, Wednesday, April 15th will be Tax Day,” Shuster said as he began a soliloquy with about a dozen separate oral sex puns. “But in our fourth story tonight: It’s going to be teabagging day for the right-wing and they’re going nuts for it. Thousands of them whipped out the festivities early this past weekend, and while the parties are officially toothless, the teabaggers are full-throated about their goals.

more like coremen
I don't have the right keys to type pronunciations, so I'll use copy and paste from dictionary.com:

corps⋅man
/ˈkɔrmən, ˈkoʊr-/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [kawr-muhn, kohr-] Show IPA
–noun, plural -men.
1. U.S. Navy. an enlisted person working as a pharmacist or hospital assistant.
2. U.S. Army. an enlisted person in the Medical Corps who accompanies combat troops into battle to give first aid, carry off the wounded, etc.
3. a member of any corps, as of the Peace Corps.

Reba, I had no idea the term is offensive; my interest in this, up till now, has been periphreal; I'd always thought it was a reference to the Boston Tea Party.
"Tea Party", yes. "Teaba**er", no.

I didn't know that term was a name for a sexual act either until I read something here at AD.

Oic, I guess I naturally assumed Teaba**er was a member of said party. Yikes!

Anyway, I tried to make u famous with something I said over at Alex's "Diary" thread.

I knew it was a vulgar word since it's a common act in videogames to show that one is the victor, and the other is the loser by going to prone then going to crouch repeatedly. I just found it humourous that it was used to describe the Tea Party, but I didn't know that it was originally meant to be in reference to the said act above.
