All right... the worst part of winter is fast approaching, and I need to be prepared. I want some feedback on the best thermal clothing there may be? Reason is because I'm anticipating more subzero temps in February, especially during the first two weeks, and I want to be smart. Any advice is welcome. :)

Oh, I already brought two pairs of thermal shirts and pants, but I'm looking for something thicker.

I have a set of Merino wool blend from Costco, and it works much better than any thermal underwear I've had. Not cheap....$20 for the top and $20 for the bottom. I was skeptical until I wore them, not going back to the cheap stuff anymore. They don't shrink either.

The tops and bottoms came together in two separate packages, with one of each in both packages, and they cost me $12 apiece. Name of the brand is Picopi.

I just tested my thermal clothing. It's pretty good, but now I'm  cause I just discovered a fake US coin in my chunk of change, and I turned it in and informed the police department. Someone's gonna be in hot water soon.

Under armor works best for me, not cheap though. I get it at the goodwill.

Academy has good deal on Under Armor brands, but their stores are mostly limited to southern states.

They must have really appreciated that.

Why be mad about a coin? Was it a valuable gold one? How do you know who did it? How do you know it is fake? Why did you bother the police with that?

For me, I rather to have deal with store without getting LEO involved.

Because it was a fake US quarter I got, and it didn't match up with the other quarters I had, but I needed to verify it was in fact, fake, so I took it to a reliable source, who confirmed it was a fake, and therefore illegal. That is a federal crime, and it's my obligation to report it. And I also know where I got it from, but I doubt they made it.

What do you bet it was Canadian? When I was working at Mobil this woman came in soooo upset because she lost a dollar, she wanted me to call the police. Uh no, sorry ma'am someone found that and picked it up it's in someone's pocket. I can't call the cops about that, they'll come down here and shoot me for being so annoying.

That adult assisted living housing building behind the store made everyday interesting. That's for sure.

Is it plastic coin - toy? If so, it is not illegal if you don't use to buy stuff.

That's what I first thought.

The coins are worth for my investment - I put a lot of coins in piggy bank.
I'd spend more in gas going back to the store than I'd recoup by taking the coin back.

Plus, I consider my time as valuable.

Check money isn't wasting my time - it took seconds to check. :cool2:
