Bad Fellowship - Please Read

Topics should be posted in the proper forum and uncensored unless there are posts that are illegal or against the forum guidelines.

Ignoring posts does no good -- other posters often quote the ignored user's posts and thus the ignore function is defeated.

The forum moderators need to be notified immediately upon seeing an action that is against the posting guidelines. The moderators are not here 24/7 and posting "moderator please do something!" will NOT be seen by them, and you will look like you're whining and thus get attacked more.

Otherwise, the only reason why people whine or complain is because they can't defend their beliefs or understand that others will have different beliefs. I'd rather see some arguing happen than to have everyone constantly posting "me too!" threads.

But geez, that doesn't need to be said by me. Everyone here needs to show some respect to everyone else. That includes everyone on both sides of the latest religion debate that is flying around here.

Amen to Reba's posting and I never excepted to be in this position either. I hope people will stop for their own sake , health and good will. For Chrissakes it is Christmas time ... Granted, people can get carried away ... but over the space of 4 or 5 days now I have not brought up any more religious matters to be discussed and all you can do is razz on me or attack people who really speak the the hardcore truth. This has gotta stop.

Very good point!

Yes and I did not realize this would have caused more problems and people are taking advantage of the situation.

Re: what Dennis said, I think the "Report Bad Post" button could be made a little bit bigger or more obvious so that it's easier for people to know what to do if they come across something that's out of line.

I think some members might not even be aware of the "button" or how to use it. I didn't know about it at first; when I had "concerns" I just pm'd the mods.

I really don't want to believe that they know about the button but prefer the "public" pronouncements. (It's the Pollyanna in me :) )

i as a adminstrator of my forum have a no nonsense approach, when someone isn't liking what they see i try to listen to both sides and then make my final decision WITH my team not just formyself cuz communication is a factor here, 2ndly. respecting another is to respect yourselves... unforunetely a good friend is no longer on this forum because of this. if u had respected therules and put the topic where it should be and kept it there none of this would have happened. time for those to apologise but now its too late now u gotta think twice is it worth driving poeple off this forum with the fantic comments? no its not this is for everyone to use and driving them off is disrespectful and downright wrong!

alex ur right abt one thing. u dont wanna be going on a banning spree, but i suggest the tighting of the forum posting so poeple will know ur not playing this time around.

YES i have to agree with cc sinned I hate bible thumpers because it ANNOYING me thus that why i dont go in to read or post....

Thank you mlkshkgrl!! This girl said it all, " Can't we all get along?"....

And sometimes I wonder why it is so hard to do that :/ .....

i just want to point a phrase to you...

what goes around comes around, so in other words think twice before u say anything at all, what u can say can hurt even if u say its internet and blah guess what even the poeple on the other end of the montior have feelings so please watch what u type in it could put u in the bad end zone.

I do understand this and Alex's wish for this forum. I try my best to be patience with those people because they not know how much glbt has common as they are.

yes, I have put up the thread/sub-thread in my forum for glbt to talk about, too.

maybe make loose for everyone.

It seems to me it's not getting any better. :( Today, there were more arguments involving bad language in two locked threads. I'm not too happy about how things are turning out. I thought everything would stop right there the moment Alex created his bad fellowship thread. We have eight days before Christmas and nothing is changing for the better.

I think it might be best if the "Report" button actually was the word "Report", more like the "Quote" button. I didn't even figure out it was here until today. (Yeah, yeah, embarrassing. ;) )

Oh, I didn't know about the "button" learning smthg new to me. Now, I understand clear. Boy, I was too blind, LOL. So that way I don't have to get angry anymore.

Another thing, I have created a Religion sub-forum under On-Topic Debates for a reason, and that is to keep all discussion related to God / Satan / etc. in there ONLY.

Excellent! :thumb:
