There's one deaf couple who have 10 children. The wife is deaf and her husband is hearin'. Her husband is very supportive. He always wanted to have a LARGE family since he is Irish and came from a large family himself. I don't see anythin' wrong with havin' more children as long as mother is healthy to have a child.

Why?.. Some parents just love having more children, and I don't see a problem with that as long as the children are well taken care of, being feed, roof over their heads and being loved by their parents, that's all they really need, beside the children look quite happy in the picture...

To my opinion: Stop to breeding more children and adopt or foster the children from poor countries and homeless... If they really love to have a lot of children then adopt or foster the children from poor countries... Why can't they? Look at poor children who need loving home. If I am well off then I would love to adopt or foster the children from poor countries and employ nanny and maids to take care of my children instead of get my children to raise my babies for me. It's my responsible, not their. If I can't acheive to take care of my babies then employ Nanny and maids.

To my viewpoint, they don't parents their children but put responsiblity burden on their children. What they did is not normal healthy family. It's parental's responsible if they really want to have more babies then is their responsible, not push their responsiblities to their children. I feel sorry for the oldest children who raise their youngest siblings. What kind of childhood they are having???? As I know that they are well off then employ Nanny and maids then... Why can't they? All what I see is they make all their children to do work for them.

The children need to be able to experience their LIFE and not just belief.

Yes I feel sorry for these children who are getting no exposure to the real world! There's much more life than the Bible. It's really sad that the children only knows many childbirths.

I've read their websites in the past and feel something creepy about the whole thing. Sure, the children may seem happy but they will have difficult time how to socialize with anyone outside of their parent's household. I see no problem that the children make their own chores but they do all of the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and taking care of the other children. I think that it is important for the children to learn right and wrong and let them allow to make their own mistakes from time to time and also learn to hear the views to cons/pros, too. They are not allow to play with their friends and their own childhood. The teenagers who have puberty should have their own privacy instead of share a bedroom with other siblings.

All what I have my opinion and hope Michelle's safe and healthy pregnancy.

True. One family I know just has had their 12th child. Their children beg their Mother not to get pregnant again because they are ashamed to come from a large family....

Maybe some of the kids are ashamed because of society's attitude. Notice some of the posters in this thread mocking and criticizing the family. It's the mockers and criticizers, not the actions of the parents, who put shame on the kids. If people would mind their own business, the kids would probably be fine with their large family.

In China, they do not kill those babies. They punish people for having more kids because they have no more land for more and more people. Think about it in not so far futue. OUr country would end up alike them, not enough land to hold all those people and feed them all plus rest of world we are taking care of them also.

If I have no money to acheive family life then have 2 or 3 children... If I have money then adopt or foster poor children from homeless or ophan homes because they need loving home. A lot of rich people hire proffesional maids and Nannies...

They do forced abortions on late third trimester moms. That kills the babies. Also, their policy encourages parents who have a daughter as their only child, to kill or abandon the baby so they can be allowed a chance to have a son. That's killing babies.
