AZ Congresswoman...12 others, shot

Yep. Can answer in a two word sentence. Boll Libel. That is exactly what turned this into a Fuck Sarah Palin thread.

Funny. I see it more as a deep seated Conservative need to cover up and ignore the societal implications of their innappropriate behaviors.

Funny. I see it more as the typical liberal leftists blaming the actions of an individual on their political adversaries.

do you agree that there is a certain conservative rightist who has done nothing?

I will agree that there is a conservative rightist that is being blamed for being the "voices in the head" of Loughner.

Interesting? It used a standard metaphor. Not a big deal.

No more inflammatory than Obama's words.

Standard metaphor? There are many that would have served to communicate the message in a less violence condoning manner.

What words would those be?

Not inflammatory, even given the population that tends to support Palin?

Am I supposed to be surprised at that? You have always demonstrated an inability to use fluid thought processes.

Are you really that dense? Where do you think those hallucinations get the words they use? And, again, there is nothing to support that this man was having auditory hallucinations. He was delusional. There is a huge difference between the two.

Jared Loughner’s friend says suspect ‘Did not watch TV … disliked the news’ - TVNewser

This morning on “Good Morning America,” ABC’s Ashleigh Banfield sat down with Zach Osler, a high school friend of Jared Loughner, the suspect in the Tucson massacre.

Osler says his friend wasn’t shooting at people, “he was shooting at the world.” Regarding the high-pitched talk radio and cable news political rhetoric, Osler says his friend didn’t even watch the news.

He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right.

Did your other personality tell you Palin influenced him to shoot all those people?

still trying to pin this on a political party ...... the guy was a nutter. Sarah Palin did not pull the trigger, Loughner did.

I am sure violent movies had much more "influence" on Loughner than Sarah Palin ever did.

I didn't see anything that condoned violence. Since when is encouraging elections to be considered condoning violence? What violence did she supposedly condone?

Using crosshairs represents keeping focused on the target.

Yeah, "target," the same word interpreters use when referring to languages, and the same benign word used in daily conversation all over the place.

People have used those phrases for decades and they have never before brought any accusations of inciting violence.

If anyone other than Palin had used the phrase no one would make a fuss.

What words would those be?
From my previous post:

What about President Obama when he said he needed to know "whose asses to kick"? What about when he suggested "hand-to-hand combat" with his political opponents, and stated, "if they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun"?

What about his talk of "punishing . . . enemies," in reference to American voters?

Not inflammatory, even given the population that tends to support Palin?
I haven't heard that the "population" that supports Palin has been itchin' to fire guns at their political competition.

Pinning on who?

I am just calling BS on "no political leaning."

I don't watch TV, or read the news. But I still somehow managed to formulate an opinion from the stuff people talk about on the bus.

You don't see it, many of us do. C'est la vie.

Guess you haven't been paying attention to his motives. And no, movies as fantasy never have the same degree of impact that an actual person that can be related to has.

I disagree, violence is a seed that is planted and if anything comments that he already agreed with or twisted them into a meaning he wanted it to mean was the trigger. If I was a prominent figure and I made a statement in the media that said I find bearded men disgusting and they suck the life out of society, my words didn't say kill a bearded man nor did they imply that, but if an assassin uses those words to justify his actions, they were only a trigger to what he was already thinking on his own. But thats the society we live in anyway, its not my fault (fillintheblank) told me to do it. It is Loughner and Loughner alone who is at fault for this tragedy his choice he did because he wanted to period.

Are you really that certain that he was free to make that choice on his own?
