I do think I understand where everyone is coming from, though. Many here are very tired of the constant questions and threads. It's already been said we can't ignore entire threads from appearing on the new posts. We can log in and come see what's new, and nearly the entire front page is covered with matajan threads. Many have asked him to restrict all his many questions to just a few threads instead of a different thread for each question. AND, he's going to ask all these questions, and then refuse to answer ours? Where is his respect to us? He's only interested in typing out questions or responding to those only directly related to marriage, ivy league, girlfriends, and test scores. It's gotten very, very old. I have seen people not posting on AD anymore, seriously. (I am assuming they'll come back eventually - but there are some taking a break just to get away from this.) I understand he has aspergers, although I will not pretend to understand what all that encompasses, only that it makes emotional/relational understanding different than ours. I think any humor, negativity, etc. that has taken place in all these matajan threads is not going to change until something else does.

well he can go ahead and marry anybody he wants but if it's the woman he disapproves of... that means he'll probably get cut off.

My sister was the same with her daughter . She told her daughter she could marry a handsome French embassie because she could speak French!

I am sad..I was into private school most time where parents and kids snobs around me, I can not handle do anything like prince william do.

I was hard time to do about myself. he told me if I want to have good wife and work stable and smart children, I must be happy.

My niece CAN speak French , I never took a foreign language. It was not oftener to HOH students in special classes in my school. My dad send me to the Temple to learn Hebrew and I lasted only two classes.

I was also put in the "special" class room when I flunked fifth grade and it was horrible ! The students were given work that way too easy so we
could 'pass' the class! Then I was sent to the "special" class room in JR. high school and got a a teacher that was burned out and a bitch! We had her for all the subjects . The students were called "reject" in special class!
We were also given easy work and did not have to do any book reports or read poems, that was for the 'mainstream classes'. I hated school with a passion but I stuck it out . I was the oldest student in my high school and was 20 years old when I got out high school. I have alway felt like a damn failure for finishing school at 20 years old!

I have a good friend that failed HS and took him 6 years to graduate. He is not a failure:

Is being smart important in your culture? Sometimes, even hearing kids get pressured by parents to do something like study hard. It can be a good thing or a bad thing.
