Anime versus Disney

MICKEY MOUSE is stupid!!!!! :thumbd: to Mickey Mouse..... I like amine and other disney cartoon is better than Mickey Mouse.....
 
Personally, I prefer that animated films are smoothly animated and I'm speaking of the frames per second.

That is one major flaw I have found in many movies, and I have a very keen eye for it. Japanese artists are very, very detailed in drawing yet they neglect the smoothness of movements in their films. But there are a few that I have seen smoothness in.

Though I can still watch anime flicks, except for Dragonballz due to the awful, awful animation.

Princess Mononoke
(with star at end * is one of my favorites)
and lot more...

Usually, anime movies have better animation than anime series. For instance, Fullmetal Alchemist is a series that's showing in Japan right now. Of course, there are different animations to emphasize speed... but it's not perfect. However, animation isn't always there just to show that the animation is good... but to express gesture, moods, feelings, thoughts, etc. It's usually the serious anime that has smooth animation... like Ghost in the Shell. :thumb:

I like both anime and disney. But I know a lot of animes doesn't have closed caption. That's why I don't usually watch animes alot... :( I alway drawing many, many animes! Do you guys draw animes? :angel: I like Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Ball/Z/GT, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon. :D

Eh? Where did that come from? It's probably cuz you had a poorly dubbed video that didn't go through the captioning company. Nowadays, a lot of DVDs include subtitles... and don't need captioning.
 
If anime dvd or tape doesn't have closed captioned, should I get japanese dubbed with english words on it? Am I right? I'm a little bit confused... :Oops:
 
I like both Disney and Anime, they're both good. Wish they still used the ol fashioned cel based animation, which most new cartoons are made by computer graphics.
 
Just look at the back of the box. It should tell you. Usually, original japanese videos have subtitles on them.
 
I hate anime....it's just so.....everything looks the same and manufactored. The stuff in anmie doesn't look drawn the way Disney does or the way drawn things do....Some people are in it for the storylines and I can undy that...some of the storylines are good, plus it's sort of like soap opera.
However, too many people are into it b/c it's so like you no tReNdY! I also hate dubbed stuff.....I am used to speechreading, and it freaks the shit out of me when I'm hearing somethign but my brain is telling me "gibberish"
 
OK, fine. I got nothing against y'all. You have forgotten when I ask, "do you guys draw animes?" Well, I do. I draw the animes most than animals, cartoons, and others. I don't know why did I affect to animes because it has shine, shade, shadows, bright color, damp ( can't spell ) color. For example, I draw anime girl as myself, I draw anime little boy as my nephew, and I draw anime woman as my sister. :P
