Airplane Crash today and is Missing

oh they like to tickle people's fears, even political consequences - they don't care as long as it makes more $$ for the media.....its typical now a days

no. CNN said "not yet confirmed". the crews still need to go there and check it.
 
All those people, just sitting and waiting for all this time, must be agonizing...:(

Did you see the poor mother breaking down and crying about her son and be dragged out of a room? It was horrible the way that poor woman was being treated. It was so heartbreaking to watch . I wish the news reporters would stop keep giving the families false hope every time some small dot show on a satellite image . I feel it would be best to wait until they know for sure the image is part of the plane . That have to be so horrible for the families .

Yes. This event is not being handled well in several ways.

From what I saw in TV of this this morning the family members were trying to get to the the reporters rather than the other way around. A group of them were complaining about the way they were being treated and felt that things were being kept from them. The authorities then separated them and rushed them off the a different room that they would not let the reporters in.

I can't blame the families for acting the way they did. The reporters seem to more concern about their rating in coving this story than the emotional stress of the families and friends . People keep hearing news that parts of the plane been found only to be told it wasn't . That to be so unbearable to go though over and over , thinking the bodies been found and being told they where not found. If the reporters do not have concrete facts about the crash site they should not report , it's too much for the families to deal with.
 
It makes no sense whatsoever for a plane to be hijacked, flown off course thousands of miles just to crash into the middle of the ocean.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

What Jane said is that family members wanted to talk to reporters about their bad feelings toward authorities who refuse to share details with them but authorities shut them up and separated them from reporters. What she saw on TV is not about reporters' rating or misinformation.

The families are upset b/c they feel they're not being told everything. And the fact that the authorities removed the families before they could ask any questions is very suspicious to me. . The families where rushing toward the reported b/c they want the truth to what happen to their loves ones. I blame the reporters for the putting the families through more stress by keeping reporting misinformation . I feel the reporters are more concerned about their rating in this story than anything else and that is why they keep reporting news that is misinformation . The authorities could be telling the reporters what they can and can't say on TV. As far was know the plane could had been found already .

Really?

What I read in your comment is negative things about reporters who misinform that causes family members upset. What does it have to do with Jane's post? I repeat, family members wanted reporters to hear their story but authorities blocked them.

I hope something is found as well. I am still waiting from the news reporters to report of any further updates from the Australian waters. It's 8.13am here, the planes will resume searching at first light. (its 5.13am in Perth though)
