You found me out...
Surely there are people who enjoy math who aren't engineers.... anyone????
Yeah....I always enjoyed math. And, I am definately not an engineer!

Very true. I would say engineers use mostly differential equations, but in reality, we use computer programs to do the calculations. We just need to know which equations to use and how we use it. Most of realistic calculations require iterations, because real life doesn't have just one answer...
Yeah....I always enjoyed math. And, I am definately not an engineer!
I found out the truth in hard way....
It's not that i don't like math... It's just that... I want to know why x+y=z not just that it does. Tell me why it is the way the way it is, and i will be more keen to learn and remember it.
1 + 2 = 3 because it's just is.
I do have to add, while I love math, I actually hate it for "proof" purposes. Those problems where you had to prove that this equation is right. I am not so keen on PURE math because it is very abstract. I love it for practical purposes only!
because count your fingers. proof's there.well... yeah... but who said so.... why is it the way it is... that's what i care about?
that's how I smile/laugh/sleep/angry/etc.btw why the mad emotion?

The mathemeticians said so. They spend their lives developing these theories. BTW, I will admit that the "just because it is" answer always frustrated me, too, but rarely do classroom professors have the time to go into the extensive theoretical explanations of "why".
yay! finally finished my paper!
Coolie! Now you can have a cup of hot chocolate, right?
I searched for job all day and I completed and returned 4 applications.
how can anyone seriously say they enjoy math? it just doesn't add up
