accomplishments

I have been searching for jobs all morning and I am currently filling out today's applications and will return them tomorrow on my way to class at Uni.

So far I have applications at:
Rose Drug (Pharmacy)
Dollar General (Sales/Stockperson)
Sav-A-Sum Mkt (Cashier/Stockperson)
Fairfield Inn (Housekeeping)
Hampton Inn (Housekeeping)
Tractor Supply Co. (Cashier/Sales)
O'Reilly Auto Parts (Casher/Stock/Sales)
ConAgra Foods (Production)
Danville Public Schools (Custodian)

And that's just from Friday and today.

I somehow survived the day at work :D Now I gotta pack my luggage 'cause I am off to Paris tomorrow after work for the next couple of days so you won't be seeing me around :( I'm gonna miss it...

Accomplishment: work (yay! - not...)

Here is my accomplishments so far today:
Got the kids out to school
Played catch with mt pup
Clipped my Parrots wings
Sewed on another quilt
Played on AD

I ran into my cousin at Radio Shack whilst inquiring about a job.
Cousin: What are you doing here:
Me: Looking for a job. Have you found anything yet? (we both worked for the same chicken plant)
Cousin: What's the point? You're getting free money from the state!
Me: Because its only temporary and I have a kid to feed and a truck payment to make.
Cousin: Well Jamal (her on and off again boyfriend) makes my car payment and grandma pays for everything else.
Me: Well don't you have two kids, a third one one the way to feed?
Cousin: Yeah..... *then she shrugs apathetically*
Me: Well don't come whining to me when you run out of options.
Cousin: Oh I won't, I'll just sit on the couch and be lazy because there's no jobs out there.
Joe the store manager: :roll:
Me: :roll:
Then my cousin leaves.

Whats going to happen is she'll wait until the very last minute to look for a job then there won't be any and she'll come whining to my family about how bad she's got it. The way I see it is she's got herself into this hole, and its up to her to decide how bad she wants out of it.

My accomplishment of the day was to get lost in the subway of Paris and arriving half an hour late at the appointment *great* :roll:

I would have been freaked out! I get very nervous in new places. Especially when I don't know where I am going!! At least you made it to the appointment!! :giggle:

Todays accomplishments start small, but the day is still young... Got up, took child #2 to school. Did 4 loads of laundry. Picked up all the games that my niece decided needed to be dumped out.
Swept the kitchen.. and took a shower.
Now for the best part of the day! Off to the barn!:wave:
 
Proud to say that I made it thru this workday without strangling anybody.

Let's see what happens tommorow...
 
That is proud of positive. If I favorite story about to positive. I am skills about to focus my math and english that is hard work. I learn improve how can better improve math. That is sound great. I impressive structure math. I love albegra that is good complex. I wish become computer. I hope be happy

Glad yall all accomplished something good! yay! JamieLynn, sorry about that.

Today i accomplished working more on my forum, and making flashcards.
 
My accomplishments for the day so far...

Have made several phone calls getting set for my surgery on the 5th.
Contacted my insurance company.
Contacted the Doctor.
Got kids up and off to school.
Drank a raspberry mocha and mmmmmm it was good!
Crused the forums on AD.
Now I'm getting ready to sew!
 
I love this thread and hope this bumps it back up to the top. Many people don't appreciate those "little" accomplishments. Many people don't understand that accomplishments are relative events and are actually unique to each individual. I for instance, in many eyes, haven't probably accomplished very much. However, I am out of bed, checked out the local and world news, checked out AD, caught up with friends on facebook, made an appointment to get my taxes done, and witnessed a most beautiful sunrise. Now I am going to toss my daughter out of bed, which is an accomplishment on its own, and get some house cleaning done. Maybe spend a little time playing Wii and then go to class tonight. BTW, loving my week as I am off from work. WOO HOO!

Quite frankly I have been very productive these last couple of days... :D

Today I have been working 14 hours and I think that's enough! :giggle: Now I am sitting at home, surfing through AD and waiting for bf to come home so we can prepare dinner and relax in front of TV!

Today has been busy!
Got kids to school,
went to Doctor, had blood work, (Pre-op for surgery)
Went to Target looking for Easter bathroom decorations :)
