Either the underlying issue is about the reason why she is doing all these abortions (i.e empowerment) by doing it on purpose (get pregnant) or that she has done "too many" abortions. Regardless, the end result is still the same. But I guess for some it's about the horror of finding out why abortions were done.

Again, your focus is on the abortions themselves.

Yep, you are just being obtuse. As I suspected.

I find it comical that you are avoiding all of my questions

This reminds me of someone I knew at RIT. She had a serious drinking and drug problem. She would go out almost every night and get drunk and stoned. She would often have sex with guys that she met at parties and wake up not remembering who she slept with. She would also end up being pregnant. Since she didn't want to pay to have an abortion, she would keep drinking and doing drugs trying to cause a miscarriage. Of course, she succeeded. It never ended for her, she kept doing it over and over. She had gotten pregnant like 5 to 7 times in 2 years... which she had a forced miscarriage for all of them.

Sounds like a path to self-destruction..hope she got the help she needed. The last thing she needed is people passing judgement on her. Obviously, there were serious issues this woman was unable to deal with.

No, rather I am asking the question here. Some are saying that it's a mental issue, and that may very well be so but what exactly is it that makes this a "mental issue"?

The excessive number and the reasons why she was doing it.

I'm more interested in the moment in watching one of the protesters of graphic threads avidly reading this one after complaining about the title of another.

Scroll back. It has already been explained in numerous posts why this is a mental health issue.

I was convinced I had put my finger on something. Fifteen pregnancies, most of them in one romance gone sour while married to a college professor thirty four years my senior, were fifteen "highs" charting an imaginary path of control and empowerment that resulted in fifteen despairing terminations.

The high she got from the fantasies of motherhood are what point to a psychological condition.

Cause that poster only thought of it in the other thread since the creator of that thread posts graphic threads on a pretty regular basis.

Ok. How many is too many?

As for the reason why, is this something about her justification on doing an abortion?

Those questions have been answered as well. Scroll back.

Why is it that you feel such a need to control and have power a woman's reproductive decisions? Particularly a woman you do not know and does not affect your life in the least?

Question...is it your body?

How many is too many is a matter of debate and depends heavily on circumstances. In her case, personally I would put the limit at 2, but that's just my personal opinion.

As for the reason why, anyone will tell you that someone who gets a high or can't function without something is addicted to it. That's why the article is titled "Abortion addict." She was addicted to the prospect of motherhood and since she didn't actually want to land herself IN motherhood, she aborted her baby. She explains very openly and honestly the feelings behind her actions. I suggest rereading the article.

Yea, it seems the word "abortion" became the sole focus here.

That's what the story is about, She has admitted to being "an abortion addict"

If she does have mental illness then she should have had counseling years ago, mental illness like this should have been caught after a few abortions, not after 15 abortions.

lol.....
First: There are no limits on abortions.
Second: Are any of you e-doctors qualified to say she has a mental health issue?
Third: I dont give a fuck about other people. Feel free to have 100+ abortions, and live your life the way you want to.
