Question to my buddy E-Doctors..

I have some fucking glass in my foot. It's been bleeding for the better part of the past four and half hours..

How the hell do i get it out? Keep in mind the only good "metal" stuff I have are silver ware. I dont have tweezers, pins, or any of the feminine stuff around here. (This is a Manly apartment)....

So, how do I remove it. It seems every time im trying to dig it with my fingers it gets deeper in... Don't want to spend the extra coin goin to the doctors.. (But again, if I was in Europe... I'd have no problems seeing the docs the first thing in the morning, ffs.)

yes, just kill the bacteria by pouring vodka or high percents of alcohol bottle whatever you have leftover in your home but the clear one. I dont know about the duct tape (grey) since it covers on it with no air inside. I think it's safer for letting the cut ones breathe by using good breathe fabric or regular band aids.
 
Today was 43 C (109 F) and how many more days to go for more heat wave? :eek:

Right now it's 9:45 pm and it's 31 C degrees (87.8 F degrees) and it's still hot.

Thanks goodness for air conditioner.

Son is sitting her bragging. He has weigh in for weight loss group in another 1 1/2 hours and he just drank a full 2 liter bottle of Coke Classic.

I use sewing pin, cleaned with alcohol, to scrape the splinter up, and tweezer to pull the splinter out. If it too small for a tweezers, I use duct tape to get it out. But NEVER a razor blade. if something big and deep enough is stuck deep inside your skin enough to use a razor, then you need a trip to the doctor.

I just looked out the window and we have the most amazing sky for the evening. Beautiful light blue background and with the setting sun, the little clouds are all a glowing peachy orange. Temp is 70F degrees and it is just wonderful outside.
 
*sigh* The day is over and I have to take my son back to his father's. I know he doesn't want to and neither do I. Life sucks right now. :(

PFH, dude, tetanus shot! Update pertussis while you're there. It's making a resurgence.

Those of you who live in hurricane prone areas, it's a good idea to make sure that your tetanus vaccine is up to date before hurricane season. You can't always get to a doctor right after a hurricane if you're injured.
