A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part I

You're right, souggy, depends on what you're making. I've got special cast ironed pan that is covered with porcelain that makes fabulous lasagna. No iron taste. I have a Le Creuset dutch oven for stew and other dishes. I'm also a big fan of the crock pot, which I use to make b-b-q ribs (which may be heresy here in Texas but I stand my the result!)

I have a cast iron dutch oven that I use to make cobblers in on a campfire. Other than that I have one skillet that does nothing but the best cornbread on this planet, and a few other skillets for casseroles, just nothing tomato based as the acid really makes the iron taste come out.

Spoken like a true Southerner. Watch out, folks, here come southerners and their food :P

talk to your dermatologist to see if it's rosacea or not. My old dermatologist is a dumbfuck.... he kept treating mine as eczema.

I used to get a lot of eczema on my hands and arms. They look nothing like my face. My face is fine for the most part, but my face is usually red (everyone enjoys pointing it out - "Oh look! He's embarrassed... look what you did!" - "No, his face always looks like that."). I get an awful lot of dry skin on my face... I put on moisturizer, but for some parts of my face it doesn't work.

Anyway, I hope that your laser surgery worked! Did you experience any pain?

I went to cub scout leader training and we baked food over camp fires. I came home stuffed! Got some great ideas, though, including how to cook in a foil pouch.

Hmmm... I haven't seen much porcelain around lately. I would like some more. O.o

I got an earthenware Dutch oven and a porcelain... and a cast iron.

Probably. From my understanding that he had a laser on his face. I dont know if it relates with numb or he did take a medcine to numb it.

The numbness is from the laser treatment. He has medication to help with the pain that comes up from the same laser treatment.

Yeah. that's what i thought so. I just wonder if he's allow to take a medicine after he just had a laser on his face. Some medicines can affect somehow on the skin if he takes it. I am curious. He hasn't answer about it yet. :)

He told me in chat the meds were from the doc who did the laser treatment.

I actually have done something that is years too late. I set up a document in Excel that will let me keep track of Christmas cards sent and received, but each page is separated by how the person fits with my family.

ie: father-in-law's family, mother-in-law's family, mother's, father's, friends, AD, and kid's friends.

I saved it onto the external hard drive and also onto my flash drive in case of computer crash.

pain yes because because I have lot of invisible facial hair... If you don't have any facial hair, you'll be fine. It felt like a powerful static discharge on my face.

the nurse applied cream on my face to numb my face because the zapping will be painful. it wasn't so bad but certain area hurts a lot more cuz it has lot of invisible facial hair. The cream is also to serve as conductive means for laser to zap my face - kinda like gel for sonogram used on pregnant woman

Thanks. It does make sense that nurse applied cream on your face to numb your face while laser to zap on your face. Hope it helps to control it for a long time.
