I will go back when the leaves get to their full rich autumn colors.

oh sorry! woops! wrong video... this is what I'm talking about. a road rage between driver and motorcyclist

Is there something about driving a dirty, gray minivan that enrages people? The vehicle almost looks the same in both videos. :eek2:

He put it down. That is a handy weapon. And ... shield. Someone takes a jab into a helmet = breaks hand.

not really. you have a very limited view and mobility if you have helmet on. it can also result in breaking your neck. that's why riot police are trained on that issue.

that's why hockey players dump it when fighting

lol! good observation. *mental note - avoid any dirty gray vans*

first video = Ford minivan
second video = Honda CRV (I think)

lousy way to end my day. so today after work, I hopped on my bike... started it up... and it just went kaput. completely dead. My speedometer and RPM needle were moving funny and vibrating. My speedometer was just vibrating slowly past 120mph and the digital displays in my clock & odometer were being gibberish. It was as of UFO was flying by and causing electrical interference :giggle:

so it was obviously electrical-related issue. this was 2nd time it happened - today and last Friday. At first, I thought it was just a completely drained battery because maybe I left my heater on. Txted my friend and he came with jumper cable. This time... again and I had a feeling it wasn't dead battery issue because I know what it looks like if battery's drained. Plus I bought a very durable, sturdy, and reliable battery and I don't make mistake like leaving anything on that will drain my battery. I figured something was short-circuiting it or wire's busted. So I troubleshooted it, took it apart, texted my mechanic for advice... and I was stumped. Then I hit my motorcycle cuz why not? it worked when trying to get tv working :giggle:

There - it came back to life but it immediately died when I tried to start it. that gave me a clue and then I troubleshooted some more. Yep it was a bad connection at positive terminal and I don't know why now all of sudden. Judging that my bike is about 18,200 miles old now and it has been thru wettest spring, hottest summer, coldest winter... I figured my electrical wires are worn off and bristled. Soon after dinner, I'm gonna go down and strip it down to bone and retrace all wires :aw:

:laugh2:

Hope you are able to figure it out and fix it.

all fixed! :cool2:

I think it took me 4 hours. that's because I was just taking my time and being thorough and inspecting every little thing.

the culprit? a very rusty wire terminal at Positive Battery Terminal

You might want to check grounding from negative wire to frame. Sometime frame between swingarm or fork may have poor connection. Try test grounding negative wire on frame with jumper wire to ur digital speedo ground. If it suddenly works great. Then you'll have to to put in good wire from grounded neg. wire to instrument ground. Also connectors are culprits too cuz corrosion or frayed wire on terminal plug in jack due to vibration and wet weather condition. To fix it, try use jeweler screwdriver to unlatch the terminal copper latch inside of terminal so u can pull out and clean or fix it. My experience its mostly neg ground issue.

My motorcycle now is at 14k miles, no issue with wiring ect. Although, I rode thru rain sometime. Even left motorcycle outside when dew was dense in cold morning.

I do discovered that under left side of motorcycle have fusebox and relays behind cover. The wires that snake down. Then up to fusebox have its connector in middle now caked with grimes and oil (although my motorcycle dont leak oil, it could be tar from road). I havent clean it. Will clean it with carbeurator cleaner then tape it with electricial tape

everything seems pretty solid for now. I'll do a more thorough electrical check when I buy a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00097CIO0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER"]Circuit Tester[/ame] and also to install ADV Monster light.

I need to replace my clutch cable too because I didn't install it properly last time. Beginner's mistake... :mad2:
