80% of Deaf Culture tends ~ please vote~

Is it true 80% of Deaf Culture tends to gossip, manipulate, lies, stalk & threat?

I believe the answer is 80% yes....Ive been through and seen from myself.

I would like to hear your opinion and tell me what you think?

Hmm..I do know that we do have a significant number or percentage of deaf/hoh ppls doing this sort of thing, although, I personally thought 80% was a bit too high...I don't believe for one minute that there is a majority of us being in this way....for that, I had voted 'no'.... ;)

ok...how many percents do you think it would be?? perhaps 50%??

I dont think HOH counts...bez HOH tends to be around hearing world more than in deaf world...ya know??
 
P.S.

Im not talking about us being this way...Im talking about deaf world. :)
 
Hmm...if it was 50%...then the saying or expression about having our 'better half' must be true! :lol:

This is only in my opinion...but I tend to think perhaps the percentage could be around 30-35%....but then again, I could be wrong...heck...I'm not a statistician (one who has the skills to deal with statistics)! :cool:

I shouldnt have put the percentage (%) I should have removed that..so it wont confuse you guys...:)

But you all agree with me, right?? Lets focus on the question not the percentage. :D

It's not just deaf culture but hearing!

I receive office gossip at my work place. I'm only deaf at the work place.
I receive neighbours gossip in the area where I live. I'm only deaf in the neighborhood.
I receive deaf gossip at Deaf Club.
There're gossip/scandal etc on the magazines/newspapers.


I would say hearing & deaf are the same!!! I would remind you that the Deaf culture are smaller than hearing culture. That's why I can't compare between Deaf & hearing cultures. I would say both the same.

Right! But...this is question is mainly for deaf culture..not hearing culture...

U are right they both are same...

You see, two deafies told my guy that its not true about deaf culture...I am going to prove it to him that they lied! It is true about deaf culture...so he can see that deaf and hearing are the same! get it?

you should have vote yes...bez its mainly about deaf..not hearing...

Yes that is true. I am only the one Deaf in this division. Colleagues are complained because three ladies always gossip and blah. I am so glad to be :deaf: as I did not want to be involve with them.

I work with Deaf staffs. They do gossip, I just ignored them. I only said, oh really. I see... that is it... If it comes up really serious, I will be glad to listen and feedback but not involve with them...

That's what I'm disagree about high%.

Should we talk only deaf culture? I think it's unfair to point the finger on Deaf, that's why I has to compare between hearing & deaf culture.
