15 things you shouldn't be paying for

Not everyone runs a business from home, not everyone is also a college student taking courses online. Sure your neighbor could be a hacker, pedophile, etc. But these are things that could be said about your co-workers, people at Walmart, people you ride the tram with, etc. You just don't know. You're right that not everyone knows their neighbor, but maybe this might be a chance to get that 'community' thing going again where neighbors actually knew each other, conversed with each other rather than living in the bubble that encompasses their property line and vehicles.

But if you're smart you'll know how to keep your pc safe when you do use their access point and it's really no different that using the wi-fi at Starbucks or the University Commons. Just keep your pc up-to-date against threats.

You question my intelligent :)

I have double ba degree, and now working for ma in Information Technology / System Administration.

Well I didn't know that, and how would be 'questioning your intelligENT' if I did not know this information beforehand? Don't be so quick to judge on this forum.

Degrees mean jack shit when it comes to hackers. Many of them don't have degrees; they have just learned from doing.

And FYI, I am an English Education major and scored a 32 on the ACT. You question my intelliGENCE.

Yup, I agree with you.

Har-har - I'm twisting here - take it lightly :-P I have a bad habit at doing this. :giggle:

Sometime leech the unsecured/secure wifi is fun! :giggle: There's one time when a neighbor had a unsecured wifi. I access, and disabled all of their computer MAC IDs and use for internet for a while, and - they contact the cable service, and the guy came over, and reset the router. They had to pay 75 dollars for service.

:aw:
 ..why'd you do that??

another thing not to pay, laundry baskets! you just toss all dirty clothes on one big (also) dirty towel, tie corners up then after laundry done, toss clean onto that same (clean) towel, carry back home and ta-da you go, fold them all. :cool2:

I just carry them in the clothes hamper. But I only own enough clothing for 1 load anyway.

Ah so you are cool with clothing being thrown in the corner.

Marry me
lol noo, don't allow that because of cats around. there's two big rubbermaid boxes I never unpack in closet sitting on each other so whenever am done with clothes, I fold and toss in corner of closet ON top of box, stacks up almost neatly until I toss in a towel - away go to washers! :D

oh and for my baby clothes, they are too tiny to toss and they easily fall behind boxes in between wall so for his clothes I use a king-size pillow case. once it fills up, it means it's time to wash! savvy, ain't I?? :naughty:

Between me and my daughter, there's enough for about 3 loads per week give or take a bit depending on what we've had to dress for.

I have one small clothes hamper for the towels in the bedroom and one large hamper for the clothes in the bathroom. This way I don't have to run back and forth between the bedroom and bathroom all the time gathering up clothes. We just throw it in the hamper when we're done and on laundry day I just gather the two hampers up.
