Quantum Leap is out already? Damn, it'll take its time getting its way to Australia I bet. That's cool, I like sci fi and fantasy anime, animation gives the artists freedom to create whatever scenes they want, unlike live action, where it's limited by what special effects they can create.

Another thread about this made me wonder just how many people prefer to buy widescreen or fullscreen DVDs. I prefer widescreen as I'm amazed how much of the picture I really miss out on. Also, the subtitles are sometimes easier to read, but on a widescreen TV, the subtitles wouldn't appear...

As early as possible, the better. The child will pick up a sign language much faster than a hearing child would pick up a spoken language, as it is all visual, and they can't talk clearly until a certain age, but there are no limits with sign language. Just be sure to teach him English as well...

The X-Files is on DVD though if you want to watch it. All 9 seasons of it. Quantum Leap is coming to DVD or it's already out. I love Stargate the movie, but unfortunately R4 doesn't have it subtitled :( Shame because the cover looks awesome too. At least I've got the Stargate SG-1 series on DVD...

I'd be very concerned about the animals themselves. An example of this is Dolly the sheep who developed arthritis. I wouldn't want the animals to suffer any effect of cloning because of us. We do need cows though for dairy products, and they're beautiful animals to have in a paddock.
