It looks like we are going to have a intense heat wave here. There could be a few spots of 100s, too. This is the forecast for Seattle. It's possible that it will be 105 to 110s in East WA in the hottest spots.
I am expecting the 100's in August, which I am not very excited because my house have no AC![]()
We could use some of that soggy stuff that Seattle is known for.
Nope, try borrowing it from Amazon Rainforest or the soggy India during the monsoon seasons. It's normally dry here in summer, but it is drier than normal around here and haven't had more than 0.50 inch of rain since more than 2 months.
It IS a heatwave for here.
P.S. The all time record high for Seattle is 100 on July 1994.

Just beg to government to give window unit AC for your home.
j/k
Haha, I don't need the AC because the fall and springs are not that hot or cold, only winter I use the heat. I have some fans around my house to keep me cool or I just go out swimming in our cool lakes or rivers in my area!
Save the electric, why not.
I'm expect about heatwave in northwest US is no worse than in southern US, I'm really hate summer weather in southern US and got sweat on my back.
I got idea, if you are too hot due heatwave then buy few strong fans to cool it up and you would need AC so very bad if you live in southern or midwest US.
send your heat wave over to my hometown NOW.![]()

Having moved from New Mexico to Washington recently this May, this "heat wave" is nothing. Just be thankful that temperature drops to low 60s or upper 50s at night after a hot day.
